I made a big pot of homemade chili tonight for dinner as well as extra meals for other days. When it comes to chili, how does everyone like their's?

If it is spicy with meat, beans and loaded with cheese, then I'll love it. Otherwise, I'll like it.

We make great chili at work, so I eat it.

In fact it's the best chili I've ever had.

It's Wendy's chili, and yes I know how it's made, and about the meat. Still love it.

I gotta go mild to avoid heartburn, when it comes to your traditional chilis... I love meat and beans together, though! And pile on the shredded cheese...

However, when I'm cooking chili, I make a vegetarian white bean chili, because I've got meat-free family members, so I leave the meat out. It's really good stuff, but... it doesn't really resemble the chili I crave most.

I've made chili with venison. Also a kind of stew with cubed venison roast, dark red kidney beans, and bacon.

I crock pot a lot. Mine goes like this:
7 types of beans: navy, black, pinto, rosado, black eyed peas, kindney, lima
yellow corn, crushed tomatoes chopped celery & vidalia onion
4 types of peppers chopped: green, yellow, chilis, and tabasco -(peppers not the sauce)
ground cayenne(not included in the 4), + salt & black or white pepper (whichever I grab first)
Cook 8-10 hours on low.

I love walking into the house while it smells like chili.
