Next year's theme: "The Roaring 20's" to celebrate Anthrocon's 20 years as a furry convention. 2016 will also mark Anthrocon's 10 year anniversary of being in Pittsburgh.

Just got done watching the Closing Ceremonies from the link that I gave in the post above. More statistics will be posted in the next few days on the main Anthrocon website, but from what I heard, attendence this year was 7,308. Wow!  :o Total fursuiters in the Fursuit Parade was exactly 2,100.  :o One statistic I heard said that the 2100 fursuits amounted to a little over $3 million worth.  :o Not sure how true that is, but that's what I heard in the video. Total charity money raised for the Pittsburgh Zoo was $30,300+.

Hmmm. At the rate Anthrocon attendence grows, I would not be surprised if they reach 10,000 in 5 years or less.  :o

Oh my gosh, Anthrocon was great this year. The fursuit parade was epic! It was so long that when i got to the end they were still sending people :orraccoon: I'm glad i got to throw the troubles of the world off of me for a few days
