Star Trek aint so good. Atleast not as good as Farscape. Now, Farscape is the best sci-fi series i have EVER watched.

i notice that the general concensus, here is that
1.  the origonal series sucked
2. that next g was the best, if brainy
3. that DS( was to much about being pissy
4. that voyager was half decent
5. that Enterprise sucks even worse than TOS
6. that Jar Jar (bliped) up TPM

youve got a point about Yoda "opening up a little green can of whup-a**" i thought it was about time.  personally, I think George was paying attention, tho, about Jar Jar...or why would he have written in AOC that HE was the wone that started Palpatine on the path to the Empire?

unfortunately, what you guys seem to do with these sci-fi series is take them dead seriously, and apply real time "hard fi" as the genre is put, to every little detail.  hard fi does NOT match Sci fi.  Hard Fi authors like the late Iassic Asimov laugh their *** off at sci fi because it's "fantasy".  that's the point!!  enjoy the series, don't anylize it to death...it's only entertainment after all...unlike our own bad press, because it's considered reality because it's usually in a reality show

Ive see lots of episodes of star trek but none have ever grabbed  my attention

TNG was alright, DS9 was awsome and I never really could get into the others.

Dude, MOST trekkers agree that the original series is the best, by far, and I agree with them. Deep Space IX would be my 2nd favorite however.

I'm a fairly big trekkie, not to mention a TOS novel is one of the things that really got my intrest in furry into a feaver pitch several years ago. I don't really have a favorite series and have only seen enterprise a few times on top of that. I'm surprized the animated series has yet to come up in this thread which had a rather underdeveloped felonid comm officer appear from time to time.  

Star wars was alright, Luke did get on my nerves some what however and the new movies are total garbage. I was and still am a fan of Boba Fett and the whole though of him being a clone did not set too well with me to be honest.

I still RP/sim whatever; both SW and ST when I can find the time to which is reletively rare, and I'm on SW:Galaxies.
