Hey ya'll. In my usual mindless surfs around the internet while chugging cans of Vanilla Coke, I ended up here. Since I am a avid lover of the furry culture, I though I'd join up.  

Name: Ron

Furry Alias: Yeashu Gabedale

Known 'Kincks: Y-Cat, Gumby, and Whitey.

Age: 16. Hey, its only a number.

Nationality: Jamacian with a splash of Chinese.

From: Engel, land of the enlightened anthropomorhic cats. Or New Jersey, if you want to get realistic.

School: West Orange High School.  Save me.

Music: cKy, SOaD, RATM, TaQ, Dj TAKA, Naoki Maeda, JS-16, and Darude, and anything that was 80's new wave.  After that, it's all about what sounds nice.

Movies: Sphere, Saving Private Ryan, Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure, Event Horizon, Bambi, The Lion King, GoldenEye, Jackass, K-Pax, Aliens, Clerks, and Orange County.

I hail from the little mountain town of West Orange, NJ, and I find my space in this place. I mostly write in my free time, because writing is great to lose your self in, and express yourself(safer than my former hobby, graffitti).  Next in line is, of course, the huge interest I have in Anthropomorphics and Lycanthropy.  I can't even begin to tell you how much indulge in this, even to the point where I would do anything to be a furry.  My fursonas species is sort of one that has combinations of more wild cats, ranging from tigers to cougars.  I made my fursona that way, because why stick to one, when you have benefits of all?  If animal gene splicing becomes a practice in the future, I'm first in line.

I also love to play video games.  I own a buttload of consoles, ranging from the good 'ol Atari 2600 to the black monolith of fun called the PS2.  I'm partial to RPG's, platformers, and 2D fighters(cant stand 3D, save Tekken 3 and VF4).  I also love music games.  I play DDR, Beatmania/IIDX, and Pop N' Music alot.  I even imported the home versions from Japan, since they are extremely fun.  GTA: Vice City is eating my time at the moment, along with Suikoden 3.  In PC land, I still play older games like Quake 3 and Counter Strike.  I used to be on Everquest, but I stopped paying for my subscrption a long time ago.  Back on the Dreamcast, I was a PSO addict.  I loved that game.  I also play alot of Marvel Vs Capcom to and Capcom Vs SNK 2.  So far, they are to of the best fighters ever.

I love cats.  I love them to death.  That why I am one in spirit, and hopefully, will be one physically.  I've always loved cats, and will forever. '<img'>

Hey wlecome here eckostyle, its a pretty friendly place and such, and i hopw to see ya round the boards. You have great tasye in music and movies, i mean is it even possible to not like new wave orr bill and ted? I think not.

Welcome to the furtopia.org forums.
You're not alone in feeling so deeply attuned to furries and furry culture. A lot of the users here are in the same boat, I'm sure. Perhaps the lifestyler forum may be of interest to you. It's not used all that much yet, but that can always change. The lifestyler term is a bit of a tricky one to handle, I guess.

Aiya, I'm the (ex) lurker that told ecko about this place. Yeah, so I guess I've been lurking here enough to know how nice this place is. Besides, I might apply for webhosting if I ever get a project of mine underway.

So, yeah... I'll introduce myself here, just cuz...

More stuff? Yeah... I am hopelessly obsessed with video games. I idolize Yu Suzuki (creator of Shenmue, Virtua Fighter, Outrun, Space Harrier, and many other great games) and Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear Solid). That project I'm working on is an rpg (furry, of course) that takes place in a old world without rule, yet people live in a civilized manner without a leader (Paradise, yeah, I'm a bit of an anarchist, but I'm a nice one). It is a 3 part story that I haven't really written (I'm good at doing stuff visually, which is why I am chosing an rpg as my medium of storytelling) where some dead guy comes back, basicly takes 3 different forms (the three different games, Dawn, noon, dusk) 'n stuff. Anything more will be a spoiler, but you'll know sooner if I get some help, because aside from storytelling and systems, I suck. I could use some help *hint-hint, poke-poke, no response-no response*. Yeah... Anyway. Video games I admire:Metal gear series, Silent Hill series, FF7, shenmue series. Games I love:ddr, amplitude/frequency, gitaroo man, outrun, galaga, space harrier... I'm not big with movies, but I liked I am sam. For cartoos, the best (and worst) stuff comes from japan:Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain. And as for comedy anime:Dragonball, Tenchi Muyo!, and one piece. Uhh, for music, usually soundtracks to stuff I like, Cibo Matto, Freezepop, Foo Fighters, and other random stuff (the beatles are pretty good). Uhh... what else? I'm a pixel artist, meaning I do art using computers within 256 colors and at high zoom without anti-aliasing tools (I use MS paint, it's good for pixel art). If you want to see some, look in my DA gallary in my sig, but I recently uploaded some old stuff, keep away from that. Foods:Anything that can be made salty, stuff like white rice, potato stuff, and various chicken flavored soups. Chicken soup, but I like chicarina and ramen much better, but not instant kind that come in cups, they get to soggy, I like maruchan instant ramen packets (people don't seem to get that, I have 2 renditions holding a cup... thing... I don't like those). As for animals, dogs. I absolutely love dogs. They are so cute and loyal and stuff. Cats are just evil unless you give them food, most cats anyway, my cat was great.

Yep, I do.  I have a few examples, but I'ts some older, lesser detailed work I did 2 summers ago when I was an anime addict;  I'ts on a non-updated site I neglect a bit ':p' Click here to take a look at my older stuff(believe me, my current stuff Is leaps and bounds better).  I did register a site, but after I send the application, it hit me.  I forgot i dont know HTML for beans.  I know I can upload my stories and stuff, but I gotta get some imaging skills down.  You know, to make it more presentable. '<img'>

Well, my thanks go out to the Furtopia staff that let me get hosted here.   I'll make the best out of it.

And I'll definitely enjoy my stay here! ':cool:'

I can always do html stuff for you if you want. I may be a little rusty, since I haven't done much of anything for a while, but I still remember how it works and stuff. Graphics are the only thing I can't really do, unless it's pixel art (the only "art" program on my comp since the upgrade to windows XP is MSpaint).

Well, You don't have to worry about that Ecko ^_^ We have a section of staff that is specially suited for HTML desgin and the such. Knowledge on CGI, PHP, and of course HTML is avalible. I think someone knows Java as well. I'm just the basic HTML desgin person thingy ^_^ But if you do have problums there is a place on the forums, Infact it is even called Web design support.

So I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get help and a launch in getting your site up and everything. ^_^

There are also a few free web design editors available out there on the web, like in Netscape Communicator, Microsoft Frontpage (which I think is free)... and stuff like that.
And as Jadnar has stated, there are some skilled web designers on the board here who can likely give you a hand. I'm quite used to helping people out with such issues, myself. I'm tech support on the Ikonboard support site.
