While watching the Previews on a Warhammer 40,000 DVD CGI movie a friend let me borrow, I became interested in a preview for an anime film called Redline:

While the film is mostly about racing, I did find the following images (Below) on Google to be quite interesting. I'm not buying the film because of a few pics/scenes of anthros in it, but rather the high tech, robots, animation, cool story, etc. in the film.

Ah yes, this anime movie was really great stuff.  It's one of those things that are just pure entertainment and fun.  Also the animation was hand-drawn for 7 years which paid off quite incredibly.  Almost every frame can be used a desktop wallpaper.
