Brindle fur?
« on: December 24, 2013, 09:02:13 am »
So I started to digitally draw my Brindle Akita fursona, I have the lineart done, but I must ask you something.

I can draw realistic fur very well , but how to get good results with brindle fur? Any tips or tutorials would be great.
It is my first time drawing brindle fur as well.

Here is the photo reference:

I usually try and reference this one here when I'm attempting fur.

Hope it helps!

Edit: Just found this one after clicking on a few related pictures, I think it might help as well! Kinda a different way of doing things.
