Since we already have a thread to discuss Fan made music HERE (http://forums.furtopia.org/index.php?topic=42331.0) I though we should also have a thread to talk about our favorite fan arts. Also if you are an artist yourself and wish to share pony art you've done feel free to share with us here. :)

Here's a little pic I made months ago, when I was designing my own Derpy Hooves T-shirt. The screens needed to make this were going to be too expensive for a one-shot T-shirt so I abandoned the idea. But, I still have the pic laying around my FA account.

I mentioned this the other day, but forgot to post it. This is another T-shirt design I made for my friends over at the Derpy Hooves Chat room. We didn't get a decent first order so the shirts were never made, but this was the final version of what we were going to do. Bass Cannon is a style of music I guess that most of the Admin/Mods like in that chat room and are always linking youtube videos back and forth. Sweetie Belle being the natural choice for our pony for it since she's the singer of the group.
I'd love to get this into an emoticon, or really any MLP related thing as a new emoticon. One of you pony artist types should consider making some and get the admin to upload it. Especially since the admin is a Brony now too.

Those look like the same ones we use in the DH Chat room. But I was thinking something smaller more Furtopia friendly. Our current equine emoticon :orhorse: is not well used to much (except by myself) but any new ones should be around the same size. Looks like the ones you had linked are about double size or more.

Course that depends on staff approval..

The problem I see in trying to use MLP emoticons is getting permission from the artist who created them and/or permission from Hasbro or whoever owns the MLP copyright, etc. Until that issue is solved, then I can't endorse using MLP emotes.

I just called Brian Goldner, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Hasbro; He said its okay. He also said that Rarity is the best Pony and Winter Wrap Up is his favorite episode. :orhorse:

For the misguided followers of the New Lunar Republic and all those Luna-philes out there:
I found this very well done comic about the backstory of the Princesses Celestia and Luna. I was quite impressed and think everypony here might enjoy it too. The comic is too large to link the images directly, so I will just post the first link for the first part and you can follow it from there. Again, its pretty amazing the amount of talent the Brony community has.

I'm going to watch the auction to see how much she fetches. It's at $640 already, and still has two days left on auction O.O
I could see it passing $1k. Also, I expect that when she makes and auctions the Rainbow Dash one, it'll go for 1.5 - 2x what this one goes for.
I'm hoping that maybe, just maybe, the Applejack one will end up going for pretty cheap. Because she doesn't have near the fanbase behind her as the others. I -might- have to at least put in a bid or two on AJ when she comes around.

I'm half-tempted to try for Twilight. Of course, I know it's going to get out of my price range pretty quickly no matter which one I bid on. In 20 years I don't want to find it and think, "Dang, this is what I skipped the vacation to <location> for?"
But it's still SO AWESOME.

The new pony that Old Rabbit just showed us above. As you can see the quality of her art is amazing and the picture I got is MUCH bigger than this but I didn't want to post it.
Go donate some money to her if you can. You don't have to get a portrait, you could just do it for the Element of Kindness, but if you do get a pony portrait it'll be awesome.
I'd like to note that it doesn't have to be an original pony. SunsetRose Brony requested a portrait of Twilight Sparkle, so you can have anypony I'm sure.
