I recently watched the first episode of MLP:FiM and proceeded to watch the next ten within a week. I used to sort of laugh at the brony fandom, thinking it was like a joke everyone was in on. Certainly teenage and adult males couldn't
really be enjoying a show about ponies, right? I'd collected G3 pony toys when I was younger, but I couldn't stand the cartoons even back then.
After bringing myself to watch it out of curiosity, I must say, I'm a now fan as well! It's not as 'girly' as it looks, and I'm a girl who hates girly things. A friend of mine who used to be a big brony hater also saw some of the show... Now they're a fully devoted brony. Just goes to show, never judge it till you try it! Brony is a contagious disease that everyone should catch.
I'm hoping to finish the first season within the next week, but I don't mind spoilers. I've noticed a lot of furs around here are bronies as well, which is awesome! My pony character doesn't have a name yet, but I'm working on her design; A white pegasus, strait but a little wild silver-and-white striped mane, bright green eyes, a quill pen and ink bottle as her cutie mark. Still working on it.
That's all for now, as I learn more about this magnificently animated and hilariously written cartoon I hope to join in some more of the pony discussion. One last word: Rainbow Dash is the best pony.
