Here's a link to one of the best story I've read that was written in the "Sonic the hedgehog" universe. Yeah I know fanfiction usualy falls short but this one is realy cool and with Ed's declining health it may be the last he writes.

video games usally hit my one weakness but it cool!
i love the sonic series and often have dreams abuut me being in the series... ':shock:'

I'm sure there has been other fan fiction done (haven't read any of it other than this) and I wasn't a big fan of the cartoon. This was the first believable story in the Sonic universe that I actualy liked. I wish the game had aspects of this story.
