I don't know if anyone would be interested, and I don't know if anyone actually watches this, but the show Trigger Happy TV is on Comedy Central channel all week long (1pm-2pm Central my time) Mon.-Fri.

It is a British variety show featuring comedy skits and pranks on everyday citizens. What makes it so unusual is the skits where fursuit characters are used.

This show IMO is kinda like a cross between the old American show Candid Camera, and the British show Monty Python.

I <3 Trigger Happy TV.

I didn't quite like the second season (the "American Version", as I call it.  They got all new cast from America with exception of the main guy, and moved the show to America) as much as the first, but it's overall a hilarious show.

One of my favorite skits was when you see this dude bolting around a corner in the alley way, running toward the screen, and then like 4 seconds later you see a mass army of people in fur suits bolting around the corner chasing after him XD  classic.

Hahahaha... I love that show.  The fursuits are pretty cool too, my favorite is the depressed penguin.

I love that show. My favorite one was when the news reporter guy got kidnapped by a group of furries in a mini van, while he was interviewing this guy on the street. It was sooo funny.  '<img'>

My favorite skits are the ones with the squirrel fursuiters. They're hilarious!   '<img'>

One thing I am curious about though. Would anyone know if the show's producers actually get people's permission first to do these skits out in public or do they just do them secretly (hidden cameras and stuff) to get people's reactions? I've seen skits where a person's face was blurred out. This probably tells me that the producers would ask people first if they wanted to be in the skit.

*nods*  The new guys definitely have techniques that don't really coincide with Dom Jolly's (the original THTV).  Apart from the deppressed penguin, their use of fursuits is mostly just raunchy.

Generally shows like this will not give advance notice to get the surprised reactions.  However, after that the crew will run around to get signed releases from everyone.  Those who don't sign probaly have their footage cut, or their faces blurred.  They did that when a crew was filming my mate and I for a tv series.  They filmed us walking around and then ran up to folks that had been caught on camera.

*nods* Sometimes you'd see the same skit performed more than once in the same episode (Dom's giant cell phone, for example).  I guess they just do the same skits over and over again and only play the one or two they got permission for.

BTW, did anyone else see the XXX Photo Shop, or the One Millionth Pay Toilet user? '<img'>

The fursuit skits are probably the most well-known skits of that show. '<img'> I remember one where a guy tosses a coin into a fountain, and a crowd of bunnies run up to him, pick him up, and puts him on their shoulders. Then he starts yelling, "Yes! My wish came true! I'm King Of The Bunnies! I'm King Of The Bunnies! HA HA HA WOOHOO!!" It was HILARIOUS. '<img'>
