Sooo... one step closer to growing fur and tails then?  ;)

Not likely. I believe this will more be used to eliminate diseases that are set in our DNA. however, if the Japanese got a hold of this, we may see woman with questionably too little clothing sprinting about on Degitigrade legs and waving their tails around in excitement. 8)
