I'm not really a fan of Applejack but it was a nice episode. The shooting stars at the end were a nice touch too, if they are what I think they are.

I was laughing a lot through the whole episode. It's cool we finally got an AJ episode, but I think it may turn in to more fuel for jokes about how she's the best background pony and such. XD

To be honest,  i think this was my least favorite episode so far.  Even too many pinkie pies was better.  It just... Lacked any sort of direction...

Zippo Spike. How could I forget that?!?! Just watched it again and had to post that with some more observations. Also nice to see RD jumping on the cloud for rain again (just too cute), and other small gags like Babs' Checker Cab carraige at the end. I can also now say I was right in regards to the Luna Eclipsed episode. Remember back when it aired and everyone was saying it was Octavia in costume playing the fiddle at the Nightmare Night celebration? I said from day one that it wasn't her, and sure enough, the fiddle player popped up again in this episode. Cool song too, IMHO.

Loved this episode. Something about it seemed..odd, but I loved how AJ finally got her own episode. It's really really nice that she also got a song, given the fact that Ashleigh Ball is kind of a professional singer before she's a voice actress anyway.

AJ isn't my favorite, but it was all in all a good episode. The main issue of the episode echoed AJ's other full episode, Applebuck season, in the sense that AJ seemed to overwork herself and her family by trying too hard. Despite that, it was really refreshing to see all of her family, even though Bon Bon and Cloudchaser were both seen in a scene or two. Little AJ was simply adorable, and the stars were a nice subtle hint. It makes me kinda sad that AJ and her siblings are orphans, but at least they conveyed that message in a kid-friendly way.

I finally got around to seeing this episode!

Okay, so first, I completely missed the shooting stars at the very end of the episode. I did catch them toward the beginning, around the 5:30 mark, though. But I didn't actually think much of them at first, until you all mentioned it having some significance.

Overall, it had the obvious high points
 - AJ episode
 - AJ got to SING
 - More Granny Smith
 - Complete focus on the Apple family, but with short appearances from a couple of the others from the mane 6
 - More Babs (wasn't sure of her at first, but she's growing on me)

I'll always enjoy an episode featuring AJ, but overall the thing seemed a bit flat. Not sure if that's because it's following on the heels of some exceptionally strong episodes, or that it is returning to a more light-hearted feel after some of the fairly dark episodes we've had recently.
