Win10 Anniversary update?

<< < (2/2)

Chipper Blu-wolf:
I've had zero problems with Windows 10 on a five year old laptop.  Doesn't mean nobody has problems, because so many computers have so many different configurations.  It sounds like you've never downloaded 10 before...the install is like 2gb, so I'm not surprised it took forever.

Version 1607 (OS Build 14393.222) is the latest stable update, so you definitely have the latest.

Kobuk:
My comp already came with Win10 when I bought it a year ago from Best Buy. No, I don't have the latest update.
14393.222 will not download/update on my comp. I keep trying and trying and trying and trying........and nothing.  :P

Chipper Blu-wolf:
That's a weird issue, and I don't have a solution for it.

It would also seem that there is a further update than what I even have:  http://www.tenforums.com/windows-10-news/66110-cumulative-update-kb3197356-windows-10-pc-build-14393-223-a.html  Maybe attempt to update to this and it will fix the problem.

Old Rabbit:
Certainly odd you can't install the latest update. Did you check to see if your
computer is set to get updates automaticly? Not likely the issue, but you
never know.

You might call Microsoft. They might have some ideas to help.. Or you might
check the Microsoft community forum for help.
