Title: Avian Tutorials?
Post by: Der Meister on November 25, 2014, 09:25:35 am
I mostly draw from reference currently. Someone in my class suggested drawing something from reference multiple times and it would help. I am looking for good references for avian characters. I have found this:

It is a pretty great resource, but I would like more help with drawing wings and torsos from a different angle as well as legs and heads.

Positions and perspectives take a lot of practice. Here is a wing tutorial
that might help. Also one for birds.

Drawing anthros generally depend on what you think one should look like.
Otherwise check search engines and art sites for references. I use refterences
when I am drawing a new character or one am not familiar with.

Hope that's helpful. :orbunny:

Yes! Those were helpful. I haven't had much time to draw in the past couple of days, but I will post later when I have some drawings.
