Do you plan on making your kids furry lyfestlers?
Do you want your younger siblings to be furry lifestylers?
I want my kids to be furry lifestylers, but I wont force them to be furries.
It's good to get into it at an early age, because being a furry lifestyler lets you find your true self. I want my kids to know who they are.

I would leave it up to the kids. I wouldnt make them wear ears/tails before they understood about the why of it and can choose for themselves.
As far as the sibs I have 2 younger brothers. Them supposting me as a lifestyler is enough for me. Wallace will model tails Ive made for me to take photos of. They would never be furries, Wallys more gothy, shannons a computer technogeek.

I took my daughter to Megaplex.  I had to ask because if I didn't and she found out, there would be trouble.  Just joking.  Actually the kids arn't interested in furry at the present time and other than to let them know what I'm doing, I don't make a deal of it.  The daughter I took to MP insists she is not furry but she does want ears and a tail to wear to work.

I don't PLAN on MAKING my kits furries--
I think that they are already though,. I don't hide who I am from them, They've seen me in ears and tail--I wear my tail all the time. My home is filled with Tiger stuff, a lot of which the've helped me pick out.
My Daughter has  asked me for a tail too, and  my son also wants one. My son sleeps with his stuffed leopard-- He's lost without it. It goes everywhere with him...even sometimes to Mommy's. The first thing he says when we are home is "Where's Leopard?"
My daughter has started a Tiger Club with her friends. She speaks to me in roars and growls, and I return them to her. It's FUN!
She has a big collection of big cat plushies, which she loves.
All of this comes from THEM, unprovoked from ME. I would NEVER discourage it, though. Even if it's only play to them, (which I don't think is the case...)  it's still something special that we share between us. It makes us all feel closer.
Whether or not they choose later in life to continue to be furry, I say whatever makes them happy. I'm proud of them anyway you look at it.

I'm with Sava... it's up to the kid.

PB and I joke about our future kids being "cups"... half-bearcub, half-shepherdpuppy. But we figure as they develop their own personalities, they'll decide what kind of animal suits them. If nothing else, we'd be fostering a child's imagination... something that is definitely not a bad thing in the least.

And hey, if the kids end up being furs, then they'll have a very accepting environment for it. If they don't, no big deal.

Probably won't have kids unless something really crazy happens!  ''

But if I did, I'd just want them to be happy. Maybe being a furry wouldn't make them happy. That'd be okay with me, heheh..

To me forceing them to be so would be the fli[pside of forceing them not to be. It would be just as stupid and just as futile.

My kids can be whatever they want to be, its there damn lives after all! I'm not going to hide my tail or anything, nor am I going to ignore any questions they have when/if they find out about 'furry' as a bad thing. But on the same note I'm not exactly going to be buying baby fursuits.

I would never stop them from being interested in furry. Nor would i pressure them to pick an animal. I like the idea of teaching them early about animals, and how special pets can be, but i wouldn't tell them about the anthro part until they had the capacity to understand it.

Me...kids...interesting thought. I don't see it happening but who knows. Not to say I don't want kids, just can't see myself having any. *shrugs*

Anyways, no, I wouldn't force it on them, but at the same time, I probably wouldn't hide my furry side around them at all. I'd let them choose whatever they wanted to do, and whatever choice they made, I'd still be happy. '<img'>

If Dawn and I were to have children, we would want them to participate in things they enjoy and make them feel happy.  If they identify with furry, we would support them, if they do not identify with furry, then we would be fine with that as well.

Even though I'm not a dad yet (and don't plan to be for a little while) I think it's important to allow kids to think for themselves.

Sure, they might inherently try and pick up after me at first, but I'm not going to force them to drop it, or keep it. They'll decide eventually.

I doubt I'll have kids, but if I do I wouldn't force furry upon them. I'd like them to grow up to be furs, but it's really something you can't force any one to be.

i made my daughter a fursona, just temporary until she decides if she wants to be one or not. but i enjoy having her in my lifestyle. she wears a tail and sees to enjoy it. she loves to hug my tail.

I guess its really up to the parent. in my opinion when there really young they really cant choose so the parents can or cant depending on there feelings. once she's alittle older if she chooses not to be than thats her.

yea. i'm gunna go color now.

My kids are  locked in the basement most of the time, whatever they are doing down there is really up to them.

Romper, do you know how much you just sounded like my best [male] friend? *pounces* You rock out loud. X3

I've secretly always wanted to have a cub... prefereably male, but female is fine, too. I have a list of unique names, too, at the top of which are my hopefully future sons, Simba and Delphi... '<img'>

I'd love for my "maybe-cubs" to be furs. But it does seem a bit awkward to share that thing with your family... "Hey, honey, how was school today?" "FUR-iffic!" "Fur-reat! Now go put on your tail so we can go outside." XD

Even if I don't have any cubs, I already have designs made up for their "wildkitties"; though if they would be furry, I'd let them choose their animal. Hehe, it'd make mommy proud if they chose a wildcat, though... ;P

My sisters are... uh, kinda furry? See, they don't even realize it. They have animals and go by their "furry-names" (especially "Achy"). Their fursonas (I guess) are Peanut and Acre, both Ring-tailed Lemurs. Don't ask about the names... <_< The species you can ask about though. XD
Mreow. :3

I don't plan on having kids.  Ever.

If I did have kids, though, I wouldn't care what they were into, and I'd try not to press it on them -- I'd rather them find their own thing and if that would be furry, well, great!
