This site works well on my Blackberry, but with the images and heavy GUI stuff it takes a while to scroll through.

Not sure if someone does custom coding for the board, but it's possible where it's designed to switch templates to pull the browser string and look for the mobile browsers, and switch to a watered-down WAP version of the site if one of those is in there.

Not sure about CGI, but I've written a PHP version -- if anyone is interested I could send you the code (it's not a lot of code, at all).

Just an idea ^.~

It's possible.  The board has skins that can be chosen.  It may be possible to create a more WAP friendly skin.

Awesome!

Like I said, just an idea -- it does work the way it is.

(however Blackberrys don't really need WAP sites, I guess)

Yeah, even sites that are designed for mobile browsers can take a while to load. For instance, I think furtopia's as good as it's gonna get for my DS browser. Lucky for us it was designed with slower connections in mind.

This signature was full of dead links from 2006, so here's a new one! It's not very exciting :<

im on furtopia all the time on my psp's browser; the only problems i have is i constantly get the java popup about new pm's when i really allready read them, and alot of the time you have to specificly refresh the page to get new messages, but aside from that it works well.

While switching to SMF may have broken a lot, there's also lots of cool new stuff.  Mobile support, for example. :)

Depending on your device, you can also access the forum through one of these links:

Cool!

I noticed that the "search"-link is missing in the mobile versions. Is this a limitation of the skin-framework?

I wouldn't know, actually.  Would be nice to have though, I'll see if it can be added somehow.
