Greymuzzle sub forum request.
« on: May 06, 2008, 01:54:05 am »
I wonder is it possible to create a Greymuzzle subfourm in the community group.
It would be nice to have  place where older furs can discuss issue pertaining to us also be a place for new older furs.

IMO this might be a pretty dooable idea. I'll put a vote up in the staff section and let you know the results of said vote.
Members can feel free to leave input on this here and we'll discuss it.

the term "greymuzzle" has to be defined, however.  does it mean "time in" (in which one of my ex's, who is about 5 years younger than me, definetly counts, or myself, as I've been drawing furs since 93, and I have proof), or by actual real-life age (which would leave only three or four people in there"

I wonder because I have been online continuously since August of 2000, a member here since 03, and had art online since 01 (i think).

It is based on how old ie in RL years a person is who happens to be a fur (hence Greymuzzle).  It's not how long you've been a furry or your VR age.  As far as an actual person's age to be called a greymuzzle that can be up for dispute.  The most common age I've heard to be accepted accepted is 30+ to be considered a greymuzzle.  Hope that helps explain some.

I am defiantly looking at age furries over 30 or 35 rather than length in fandom. Issues I can think of dealing with spouses and children concern one furriness, finding artist that can draw older furries.

that leaves me out then, not because of age, but because of lack of Kids :P

the only people who lie about their virtual age are those who play low teens and extra-naughty types that can't be mentioned :P

i have a couple attempts at fifty something, around, but I can't get much past that without it looking funny (i don't know what to let sag, overflow, or wrinkle :P)

I was always under the impression that "greymuzzle" applied to "time in"

The new forum has been added.
Look for it in the community groups section. :)
