As mentioned in this thread I'm making a request to the Profile/Info bar put into the normal theme if possible.

I found it very useful and it appears others did too :)

I think this still exists in one of the older night furtopia themes.  You'd have to poke around and check.

Personally I didn't care for it at all. Having my profile at the top of the screen just seemed confusing and all the layout I had become accustomed to over my time here was so changed that I changed my user theme to one of the other night themes the forums have. The "Hooftopia" theme is still around, though I don't know for how long, under the name "Furtopia_af".

Personally though I wouldn't want to use a theme that has my profile at the top, at least not for this forum.

That's fine, I know not everyone would like it.  There are some of us, however, who would like an option with the forum's current color and style, but the profile info positioned at the top like the Hooftopia skin.  Default skin could stay the way you have it now.

No reason why it'd have to be this OR that, when you can keep both and let people choose.

Indeed. An excellent compromise and I agree that there is no reason at all to not have the option to choose this or that.

actually, there used to be a skin just like that...

The icons were a bit outdated though.  Maybe they turned it into the AF theme.

I really hope that it isn't too much work to make an info-bar version of the default theme.

Yes, it will continue to be around just like the flea one, I believe.  I will have to ask WS.
