Secondary IRC server

So since I lurk on IRC all the time, I tend to notice the semi-rare outages that result in the entire network being offline for anywhere from half-an-hour to several hours at a time.  I feel that it would be beneficial to have a secondary, off-site, server to help out.  It could easily be set up in a round-robin configuration with a third server acting to direct traffic.  If wanted, I could host the server for this.

Concerning the current outage: 16 hours and counting.

There used to be a second and third server. No idea what happened to them.

We used to have multiple co-located servers around the US.  One thing I have been thinking about is another co-located server at Tigerden.  He's a friend who has offered this once before so I can approach him about it when the new server computers arrive.
