Hey!  When are you gonna make some more of those little arcade machines?  Those kick approximately 5,002 asses.

Man, you're lucky I found this. o.o; Anyway, I don't know. I have a lot I was planning to do, and I just recently promised a guy here I'd make a ddrextreme edit of my ddrmax2 machine, but right now I am obsessed with reason I promised to make the ddrextreme machine: Stepmania characters. I've already made 2, they are in my DA account (most likely where you found the machines) and I'm making more. The resident furry moderator of ddrfreak requested one, and he is easy to do, so, yeah...

Anyway, I'm glad these things have been recognised. There were definately my claim to fame on DA while I was making them. None of the pixel artists that were obsessed with them ever came around my gallery for anything else.

Haha, actually, I first discovered those on an OLD post on Team Artail's board.  But man... you should create a big digital quilt thing with your arcade gifs, in the style of that...quilting bee (or whatever) site.  There used to be a link to it on Hamu's site..
But yeah, I really think those machines are clever. You might do Shakka de Tambourine or that game with the big temple drums... or keyboardmania?  Hmmm?  =^_^=

P.S.  I have some pics of some jacked up arcade machines on my Kattywampus Goes To Japan page that I've neglected for ages.  Ya might get some inspiration.

I was going to put them all into an isometric arcade. I don't know how many I posted at TA, but the rest are in a Deviation pack. But, guess what, I think I just figured out another reason DAv3 sucks, they got rid of the deviation packs. XP

A Sega arcade? Neat. I want to go there. '<img'> As fir the tambourine game, I thought it looked like Samba de Amigo, and it's also made by Sega. They better bring that over to the US, I loved Samba de Amigo. Drum Mania, I played it, I hated it. It's so damn confusing, like playing PIU for the first time (but now I'm good at PIU, go me).

"I was all excited about this picture, but then I saw the exact same machine 2 weeks ago in California, so now I don't feel so special." Dancemaniax is everywhere now, just like DDR. They really aren't supposed to leave Japan, and if you watch the screen it will display a warning and stuff "This machine is only to be distributed in Japan". I already did this, it was my first Bemani game, so I had to. I still remember the course from almost 2 years ago (I haven't played since then), Petit Love, Boom Boom Dollar (red monster mix), and Cat's Eye.

If it's a dog walking game from Japan, it is. Japan has all sorts of odd games, many of which don't have console counterparts because it's so hard to emulate. Konami's Mocap series never made it past arcades as well as thier DanceManiax series. Anyway, in America, we are a whole lot less obsessed with arcades, so pretty much all of our games are either made in another country and or on a console or are Pinball. Japanese arcade games are always the best. I dare you to think of a great arcade game that wasn't made in Japan. Outrun, Crazy Taxi, Bemani, Pacman, everything...

edit:Oh, btw, I found the post again (I never check the art sections) at TA, and I replied, that was a bit after I replied here. I answered a few questions, so, yeah. There are more of those machines in my DA gallary, I'm trying to find the deviation pack, but I doubt it is still there.
