One Hundred Webcomic Finales

How do you think most webcomics end? What usually happens in that final episode/installment? What should happen? And--What would happen if you were drawing the webcomic?

Here's a quick overview of how webcomics tend to end.

If there is a story, the most common ones are:
1: All's well that ends well. (E.g. The Hope Virus)
2: It never ends. (E.g. Housepets)
3: The story got cut as the creator never actually finished it. (E.g. Over the Mountains and Far Away)

If there is no story, the question is pretty much irrelevant.

As for how I think it should end, there is a variety of options. Though, my favourite is a good ending with a sacrifice. Think of the movie Avatar and the game Dust: An Elysian Tail. Peace is restored in the end, but the peace came at a certain cost. I'd like something like that if I ever made my own. It would be nice to be able to see a bad ending sometime as well, we don't see those too often either.

The main character gets married and settles down.

Sabrina Online kinda ended. Sort of. Though it did start a new chapter following the formation of Sabrina's family.
A similar thing happened with Isabel Marks' webcomics Namir Deiter and You Say It First.

Though I had long since stopped reading Marks' stuff before they ended. I just fell out of them when it seemed like the story was dragging and never going to end.
I used to follow Looking For Group but I kind of grew out of it.
Nowadays I follow DMFA, TwoKinds and Ava's Demon. As well as a couple of tumblr blogs that I check in on now and again.

From what I have heard by the authors these comics I follow are promised finales in the future.

Making a game of how to finish off a webcomic. What with so many going on hiatus, it seems.

The key character is exposed to some chemical or strange radiation and transforms into an inanimate object.

The main character is attempting to mine bitcons on his home computer. He experiences an electrical overload and the resulting magnetic field transports him to another dimension.

The main character becomes a colossus and consumes all the other characters in an effort to satisify his endless hunger.

The strip's creator has a real life issue which causes the comic to end abruptly.
