Officially, our comfort food is Almandine. For those who don't know, it is Romanian sponge cake filled with almond cream and covered in chocolate. :D
*munches on some as we type*

My sister's favorite comfort food is hot and sour soup.  For me, I suppose it's chocolate cake... or take-out Thai food... or my mom's chicken enchiladas...?  Yeah, it's less clear for me.

For me, it is hot chocolate/cocoa. In my opinion, it is really relaxing to have in the winter, and is quite comforting.

Pizza. Of all sorts. When out of pizza, I make one out of tortillas, barbacue sauce (Sweet and spicey only!), cheese, and pepperoni. Ah, the joys of living withing 6 miles of a butcher's shop.

Sometimes I put bacon on it too. Sweet, wonderful, amazing, fantastic, fattening, brutally great, crispy bacon.

I more do comfort drinks. If I get unhappy or stressed, my already high consumption of tea and drinking chocolate goes through the roof.

Same as Saloonka's answer... coffee, coffee, coffee! Extra strong and sweetened.

Things like beans and rice, pasta, or a big bowl of oatmeal would also be comfort foods. Oatmeal is really good with a spoonful of coconut oil mixed in.
