Question
« on: November 11, 2005, 11:41:53 am »
I don't have much money to spend, I would hope to spend nothing at all.  I need a program to use that is drop and click to make my site.  I don't know HTML, and I would perfure not to learn another language.

Please someone help me out with this one NYa!

I use dreamweaver. You can download a free version from macromedia* web page, and it makes programming quite easy. It is in different languages, including english, spanish and french. (I use it in english because it seems the easiest, but it's your call)
It comes with a tutorial. If you need further help, be sure to PM me or ask around.

Dreamweaver is made by Macromedia - can you really download a free version from Microsoft?  I know Microsoft do FrontPage but I wasn't aware they had a deal with Macromedia.

But Dreamweaver is a good program but it can be a bit complicated for absolute beginners.  Macromedia allow you to download a 30 day trial version but it expires after that and can't be used.  But it's quite expensive at around $400.

FrontPage isn't too bad either but not as flexible in the long run as Dreamweaver is.

LOL '<img'>  Yeah! sorry. macromedia was what I meant. Lemme edit that post...... done!  '<img'> And I bought it cheaper. Guess it all depends on where you buy it.  ':p'  Mine was in a kit with flash, dreamweaver, fireworks and other two I don't remember. And it wasn't as expensive. What a wacky world '<img'>
