I suppose that would give new meaning to the phrase: "Look at that escar-GO!"    Actually, Escargot(sp?) is another word for snail.

I can imagine a bunch of french people sitting in a circle, bored, and some guy suggests "hey lets spit some snails". Interesting customs around the world, wonder how far I could get one *scratches his head*
