Sherlock Hound and Pom Poko
« on: September 22, 2012, 10:10:46 pm »
I was browsing Wikipedia when I came across these.  Sherlock Hound is a TV show where the characters are depicted as anthropomorphic dogs.  The first six episodes were directed by Hayao Miyazaki.  Pom Poko is a movie directed by Isao Takahata featuring anthropomorphic tanuki as the main characters.  Furry and anime.  :)

Pom Poko. Pom bloody Poko. There's about five minutes of enjoyable movie in there, if you can be bothered to look for it.

Sherlock Hound looks cute though. Kinda remind me of that old Willy Fog cartoon. Basically it was a furry version of Jules Verne's stuff stretched across two or three series.

I love Pom Poko. It's made me cry on several occasions. Sad and beautiful.
