Since this is LGBTQ Pride month, I was curious to ask if any Furtopians participate in any Pride events like parades, festivals, etc.?
Do you wear any furry themed stuff to Pride events or not?

As someone who has been to a few pride events (not like the big big festivals, but smaller local parades and small rental place event), I never really thought about wearing any of my furry themed stuff to said events. I think my reason being that I find these two elements of my life to be unrelated and not necessary to be mixed together. It's kind of like my job and my gaming characters, I wouldn't make my job title a character in a RPG or MMO because I feel these elements of my life are unrelated, you know what I mean?
P.S. I have no problem with anyone who chooses to or anyone who chooses not to. I feel like this is merely a personal preference and there is no right or wrong way to go about this.

I'm on the asexual spectrum if anything, but no. I don't go to pride events because I feel I'm not a fit really since many in lgbt might think I'm straight enough. Or if I go I'd be an ally.
I'd refrain from wearing furry stuff at pride events. It makes false conclusion to normies that furry=orientation. Which is only sometimes true.
With that said, I did want to wear fursuit in public in pride month, so...idk?

When I have taken part in Pride events, I have not worn anything furry related.

Jade,
Couldn't agree more. This is basically what I was thinking/ trying to say. My sexuality and my furry hobby are unrelated to each other and I think that wearing a fursuit or accessories to a pride event would give off the wrong impression that these two things are related.

I don't go to Pride events nor do I wear furry stuff anymore.

If you don't mind me asking why do you no longer wear furry stuff anymore?

Simply put, I'm pretty much retired from the fandom. Don't go to cons, furmeets, wear furry stuff, etc. As you get older, the hobbies and interests you once had when you were younger change over time.

I attended Columbus Pride this year with several furs who went in partial suits. There's been some talk about trying to set up a float for next year, but that's still just in the ideas stage.
