Bad furry habits...
Hm, as far as I have discovered my furry self, I suppose these habits could be considered bad and furry - or at the very least furry:

Sneaking up on people before pouncing them would definitely be my major 'bad' furry habit, I tend to do it a *lot*.
Scratching and biting in a playful fashion - although I have almost never received complaints about those actually.

As for the rest, I tend to 'rawr' and purr when liking someone/ enjoying something a lot.

People tell me that I purr sometimes (never noticed this phenomenon myself) and everything that is fuzzy attracts my attention. I have caught myself (when my friend yelled at me) playing with her tail (I don't think she considers herself a furry she just wears it) when I sat behind her in class and was purring.

I don't really have any bad animal habits. I do tend to growl when I get angry or frustrated, but it sounds more like Homer Simpson or Frankenstein than a lion :P

I have a few now that I think....

My friend keeps calling me a house pet because every time I get in his truck I am leaning my head out the window and letting the wind blow on my face...I like it its cool, sorta feels like being petted all over my face. :-[

I also find myself wagging a tail I don't have...been doing that a lot tonight!
I end to tilt my head too, lol.
Umm...I growl al lot and really good at it to. That might be a bad thing since I mostly do it when I get mad. ha ha

I get really cuddly at times and curl up on or next to people making weird animal like sounds too.
I chase cats and rabbits when I am riding my bike around and I see them....um I am sure I could go on and on...ha ha

I must not become confused when people look at me funny for "mmrrr"ing, meowing, or other non-verbal vocalizations. When in Rome I will learn to speak people.

oh, almost forgot. I circle on all fours on my bed before lying down. That ones fairly new though. I also have the urge to tell people that they would look good with a tail. that would cause some awkward moments......

I bite people a lot. I also murr and growl aloud. I have a twitch. I stretch big with my whole body. I scratch my head rapidly. I climb/walk on top of things (park benches, fences, trees, rocks). And I hoard things. Mostly percussion sticks and mallets. And street signs.
My name is Kyla Jazz.

I used to. Back in elementary school, I would roar and growl at people who made me mad. I quit doing it because of the reactions I would get from it. The school councilor also had to talk to me about it. She said to quit because I'm a human, not an animal.

I remember a similar incident from elementary school. I don't remember if I did it more than that once, but my friends and I were playing around in the cafeteria, and I started to bark at them. I got reactions from the other kids as if I was weird so I stopped. :-[

Current habits:
Bad (maybe?): Growling at people, mostly after they've walked away and can't hear me. I can't stand smokers and will let out a growl at them after they walk by, making me breathe their fumes. x_x
I'm also guilty of the squirrel chasing. But what can I say? It's fun!!! :P
I do tend to scratch my head, but I never considered that a furry behavior before seeing some of you say it too.

Not bad: I will lick my hand if I hurt it. Barking and growling (playful) at my mate.

I've also been told that I make animal-like noises in my sleep! :-[

i am now making a running record of what brand of pencil is better for chewing. Roseart splinters too easy, for example, and Papermate are way too stringy.

By the way, If anyone wants to see pics of me wearing my collar, a friend of mine helped me post them on the "A collar (and why I feel really really dumb right now" topic. check em out!!

*Just found this out.*

When I'm extremely happy and wearing my tail, I wag it uncontrollably! I didn't even notice until I had calmed down a bit and it was still hitting my sides, good thing I didn't knock anything over. :-[

I find I avoid crowds, or get to the edge of them so i can make sure noone trys to ambush me.
Small movement always draws my attention and people have sometimes accused me of zoning out whilst i watch an insect or something.
If i'm bleeding, I always like it, cause plasters are useless and annoying (and who wants to find used ones round the house anyway).
Sneaking up on people is one of my favourite hobbies, just for the petrified looks as they run off.
I can sometimes sense if something is watching me and the hairs on the back of my neck go up.

Im sure i could add more, but i cant think of any right now.

I'm here at the tennis court watching my cousin Jared beat around some tennis balls and I am practically salivating. I might have to steal one of his tennis balls..... ;)

I think this thread is more for random comments that you find yourself doing. Not so much about commenting about others furry habits, although I'm sure that's allowed. So on both of those notes...

Do you honestly like chasing tennis balls? I just find that slightly humorous, well I never liked tennis balls nor any type of ball that much. :)

And as for a habit of my own, ever since I started working at this dog and cat supply store I find myself more and more staring at the food and snacks (although they are for dogs, many do look pretty tasty) and usually leaving with a huge appetite. I tell you what though, it's the first place I'll head if there is some sort of catastrophe happening, tons of food, blankets, basically it's an all-in-one shop intended for pets, but I'm sure humans would survive fairly well there also! Not to forget some of the toys they offer there can easily be turned into weapons!

usually, im the one who throws the ball, and im usually at home in my room. So, theres really no hardcore chasing involved.

Oh jeez. XD

I mew and growl at things relentlessly, and thankfully don't get in trouble for it usually.
I can purr rather well, even though my fursona is a dog (whattheheck?), and happiness usually results in a purring session, I'm sure.
Sadly, my sense of smell is about dead (bad genetics) so I usually can't smell anything at all, but when I do (certain scents, like.. oh, say, cinnamon apples) I have to follow it.
As a kid I walked on my toes a lot, chewed on things for the heck of it, and would howl.
From what I've heard from friends, I also tend to chase things in my sleep.

So, either I'm insane, or I'm furry. XD The latter is easier to believe.
