Well, I was saying something about writing a story, but I lost all ambition to do it. So I'm not going to bother and deleted what I had said.

Well, My problum is I start a story, a get in a few pages, and I never ever continue it. It is left there to sit and collect dust. I have never finished a story.

As a result I have absolutly no ambition to start another, as I know it'll meet the same fate, and what is the use of starting something you'll never finish, something you KNOW you will never finish.

I really ought to write, but I can't finish things. Thats why I like RPG's specially the Freeform type. They are like stories, except other people work off the idea, and continue it. They are the only sort of stories that ever continue beyond the planning stages.

I'm going to go out on a limb, and throw a guess. Was the story anything to do with the RPG?

No, It was going to be more of a story of a person in my world, a life story. I wasn't too sure what it was going to be about, or where it was going to go. But I ain't thinking much bout it anymore, for the above reasons.

* runs after jadnars ambition wrestles it to the ground*
now get back in there n help im * swipes it up the back of the head with paw)

Well maby that'll help. Seems a shame you can't finnish a stroy ' How about getting the ending first then all you have too do is write backwards to the begining wich you already have so it's only the middle pat you need. In all seriousness though I tend to write backwards as I find it much easyer that way  '<img'>  well hope you don't give up completely you have a good writing style which could easly lend itself to writing. If you want to talk ideas my doors always open altough the place is a mess and you'll probably get lost in the stacks of half written ideas I have lying around the place  '<img'>  .

Actually, BearPaw, I think that is my problum. I have already thought of the end, and as a result, I see no more need to continue writing. Sort of like watching a show. You watch it to see what happens. But once you know the end, who lives and all, and wether everything is successful or not, the need to watch it just dies. You'd watch it just to see some of the minor things, but to see the end no. I think that is my problum. I like to write, I think through the whole story, and bam, I have it all thought of, and the bother to write it all, is no more.

I've decided to write a story, forceing myself to do so. I haven't spent much time on it, and I'm already on half of page 3, typed. So I guess I'm getting off to a good start, but I'm not going to think of how the story is going to go, nor how it is going to end. I'm just going to write it, whatever comes, comes. It'll be just like a movie, Unexpectendness, to author and reader alike.

Well, I have this so far: http://www.wolfvern.furtopia.org/nwf/newterren.doc

Not much to look at really. It is sorta rushy too, but I may flesh it out later, if I get the ambition to do so. But for now, there is that.

Well, for me it is pretty much like forever. Once I put something down that is it, no more. The story sees a complete and total breakdown and that is it. I think it it due to my over planning and the fact that I have too many projects in my mind.

Ahh. Well you have better things to do anyhow yes? Sometimes I find my priorities of art and writing all dependant on weither I like the idea of what I wanted to do one day, the next day I wake up.

Usualy I hate the idea of writing after ten minutes of making a massive outline that was practicaly the story anyhow.

Well it would all depends on the definition of better really. THough while I do have better things in mind to do, I never get around to it, as a result I've got a thousand things on hold, and no ambition to take it all up. lol.

I'm a sad little lupequine, *chuckles*
