Howls! We're a few, but proud breed. Thanks for the shout out. I live right at the edge of I-64 with one foot in the ocean. I wish it would quit raining here, so I can go fishing. |

Howls fellow eater of salmon. Oh, wow! It's a really small, small world after all. (Sorry for the Disney quote. ) I live a few miles north of Virginia Beach. I don't know what's more fun about fish, catching them or eating them, maybe both. *murrs at the thought of seafood* |

Haha, don't worry about the Disney quote... I used to flip burgers for The Mouse. =^_~= Ahh man, I used to go to Virgina Beach all the time!! That's where I learned to swim. ...haha, when I was a little Wamplet, my dad picked me up by the paws and chucked me far into the ocean. ...hahahahahaha. So that was my first experience with the beach. We caught a clam and put it on ice in the hotel. We set it free, 'cause in the middle of the night, it was chattering like castanets. Freaky. ..oh but salmon.. let us all murr in unison at the thought of a fresh, juicy hunk of salmon....ohhhh droool.. My favorite way to cook salmon... first off, you gotta find a really high-quality fresh beautiful slice or three.. then I take a container and pour in some soysauce and a couple spoonfuls of sugar (hah, another Disney quote! and stir it up. THEN put the salmon *drool* in the mixture and make sure it soaks into the sweet, delicious meat. Meanwhile, I've fired up the grill... Throw that fish on the grill for like a couple minutes on both sides. Just till there's about three milimeters of cooked fish on either side.. The middle will be lukewarm and juicy as all get-out... DROOL...slightly seared salmon....OHHH YES. OH! YES! ...I think I need some alone time, now.. P.S. "Virginia is for Furries" sounds like something that should go on a shirt or bumper stickers, hint-hint. |

Well at least we got to talk...although, at a bad time that day. Was refelting the pool table and all that. Today (Monday) is good for calling back. |

Uhh thats sarcasim man. It was great hearing your voice. Pool table is fine and we all notice a HUGE differance from playing on it. I stretched the felt, and shimed the milled slate so it was even...something the company that felted our table was supposed to do. They sent kids...no older then 19 to do it. I was hoping they had more experiance. |

Ok, since there's a few of us scattered about the state lets have a weekend gathering. I live just east of Charlottesville, about 25 minutes off of both I95 and I64 and have lots of land to hang out on. I've got three acres that are mine and 45 acres behind me to hike, ride atvs, fish, camp- whatever. It's just over 3 hours for the furs in the Va Beach/ Hampton area and around two for those in the NoVa area, so I'm pretty centrally located for everyone. I've got plenty of room for anyone who wants to overnight- there's the living room, my sewing room, my camper, I can borrow my brothers camper, the boat and all the room for tents you could want. Everyone can stay the night if they want, so no long drives up and back for anyfur- we can find you a spot somewhere! Lets all get together! |
