Well, I made this post as a place to talk about my life and not be really bragging or sem to be trooling for sympathy.

Recent Events:

I have been accepted to college at the University of West Alabama in Livingston. I have recieved a letter from them saying that I have been awarded a thousand dollar a semester scholarship if I live on campus. So I will be moving soon then.

Great! And congrats on the scholarship.

You learn so much in college. I mean besides the stuff you go to class for. ''  Hopefully you already know how to do laundry and some basic cooking.

Thanks Drake. They kinda screwed me over though. Yeah, I get $1000, but I have to live in a dorm to get it ($580) and to live in a dorm I have to have a meal ticket ($700). Though I save on gas, they have kagged me up in the long run. Now I have to buy a wireless net card so I can have net access. The dorms have no connections for anything.

WARNING SOME EVENTS MAY NOT BE SUITED FOR YYOUNGER READERS!!!!

Recent Events:

Thought I found some one who really cared.... Went out with him for about 2 weeks and all was fine.... 2 more weeks and he got mad if I went somewhere without him. Yelled at me for talking to anyone that had pisssed him off at some time or another. Threatened suicide if I wasn't around when he wanted me to be. So I have left him. He has flooded my email, voice mail, and called my house quite a few times now and is officially blocked from them. Oh well on to other things.

I will be moving to UWA on Sunday 8/17/03 and may be without net access till a tech can come in to make sure I have installed my  wireless card right.... Bah! I know comps enough to rebuild one from the chipset, but that is not good enough heh..

Not So Recent Events:

During my emotional trauma, I am not sure if I told any of you this, but now that I feel better I think that I can tell the few that actually check my forum something that happened to me that has left me shaken and looking over my shoulder...

I was sitting at home on the net, when a call came in. My dad had hurt his back at work again so I rushed to the hospital to see him. Well, he was fine so I decided to go home and sleep a little. I used my keyless entry to open my door and then I leaned in to rearrange a few things in my car. Then I suddenly felt hands on my butt. Sopme guy had walked up and grabbed me, talking about how much fun he was gonna have with me.... I was scared yes, but I was pissed. I grabbed a pole I keep in my car and my knife and turned to face him before proceeding to beat him. Well, the cops showed up and stopped everything and after giving my statement I was allowed to go home. I got a call from them a few days later. The guy pleaded guilty and was sentenced to a few years. My parents have no clue that it happened and hopefully never will.

Ok, so its out in the open to you.

YIKES! Manethran! I'm glad you are ok. Geesh.... you can't even look in your car for something. Was this in the hospital parking lot and how in the world did the cops know to show up? Geesh... spooky.

I'm sorry to hear about the relationship. I do hope you find someone that will care for YOU. It will happen.

It sounds like a rip at college. At least you will be able to get on the internet now?

I am sorry for not responding so much sooner. I hope things are going better now for you.

Hmmm... Been a while since I have given you all an updae on my life. Though only a few pay it any attention. Anywayts...

Not So Recent Events:

I am an official pledge in Tau Kappa Epsilon's Iota Upsilon Chapter and have been through mild hell for a few weeks now.

My classes are starting to swamp me already. Between TKE, Class, and Intramural Football I was falling behind. I have quit the football team and that has helped for the time being.

My sis is pregnant again so I am about to be an uncle for the second time.

I recieved my commission from my bro Patrick a while back. Now it is mounted in an oak frame back in my room in my hometown. Thanks Bro. I love the pic and am displaying it proudly. Many have asked about it. THe questions ranging from Who did it, what is it a pic of, and even a few what is furry... Tis becoming a great way to get the good sides of the fandom out there.

My scholarship has not been paid and I refuse to pay what it is supposed to cover.

Recent Event(s):

Well, this is the final week of being a pledge and it will be complete and total hell. During one of the litte mind games that they already put us through, one pledge caught a cold, one got poison oak, and I got second degree burns on the palm of my right hand. None of this was intentional and the burns were my fault so.. No we are not being mistreated too much. lol. Iniciation is the entire weekend of  the 11th and will be the worst time for being a pledge, but atleast it is almost over.

Went to the Talledega Race last weekend. Being a pledge I had to run our concession stand. So I didn't get to actually see the race. Two good things happened though. 1) Pledge dues are covered for this semester. 2) I 'liberated' an apron that says "Winston Cup Racing" on it. THis is the final year of the Winston Cup so I believe that this will be worth something in the future. I could be wrong. Do not think I really stole it though. Our manager told me I could take it if no one saw it when I did lol.

There is more, but I have class in a few minutes.

I'm not sure if things go well or not Chaz, but atleast they are going. Today will be my last day on here for a few days cause of that house arrest stuff that the TKE pledges are being put through because we do not know every thing about each other. Here are the rules for that:

1. Pledges will spend Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday living in the TKE House.

2. If one pledge leaves to go and get something to eat all others must go with him.

3. Each pledge will recieve one hour a day to finish personal business away from the house.

4. Aside from the free hour, going to class,  and going out to eat, no pledge is allowed to leave the house unless under direct orders from the Prytanis or Epiprytanis, or in the company of a full brother.

5. While staying in the house, pledges are required to keep the public rooms (Barroom, Livingroom, and Bathroom... There is no kitchen) clean.

I'm sure they ill come up with more for us, just to cause us stress, but these are the ohes I know of now.

Oh so many things are going on now or have already happened.

Well, iniciation went through and I am now a full brother of TKE. Tau Kappa Epsilon Iota Upsilon #630. Tis a very good feeling. All the crap was worth it and would not give it up for anything.

Got word that a friend way up north in the Maryland- D.C. area was robbed at gun point. According to a witness report a guy pulled a gun and demanded his money, he gave it and the guy turned to leave, he suddenly turned around and... Well, you can guess. I am now in morning despite not seeing the guy for almost 10 years.

Classes have gotten harder, but I am making it without too much stress.

Well, there is a lot more, but tis not enough time in the night to post them all.

Glad to hear you passed your initiation! Me, I wasn't interested in anything like that when I went to college.

Sorry to hear about your friend. Even if you don't see someone for a long time they are still in your heart so I am not surprised that you greived for him.

College is hard PERIOD! (giggles) I guess it really depends on what classes you are taking and what type of teacher you have.

One of my teachers was really a bore when he talked. Very slow and no change in his tone. I had a hard time in that class.

A few things have been going good for me recently.

I've found to guys to hang out with that seem really cool. One of them actually goes to school with me and he understands my need to stay hidden in my homosexuality. This coming weekedn I'm supposed to be going with him to a club in Mississippi, (YAY!!'<img'>. Me and a few of his friends will be going to his house the weekend after Thanksgiving to have a gayathon lol. We are gonna sit around the house watching the first two seasons of 'Queer as Folk' and 'Queer Eye for the Straight Guy'. Should be tre cool. Oh my God, then there is New Years. He's invited me to the gay pride event going on in New Orleans during New Years. I'm ready to go now.

I'm getting more and more comfortable with my homosexuality and believe that the courage is building to come out to others. Still need to talk to my lesbian aunt before anyone else though.

Oh well, I got class and need to go. I'll see ya'll around.

You are sounding a lot happier now. Glad you found some folks to hang out with. Are they all gay as well?

Yeah, we have watched the "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy". An interesting program.  '<img'>

'<img'> Yep Kada, they are all gay.  Anyway, it gives me people I can be open around without fear of anything. This is doing wonders for my happiness and moral. I'm still worried about how I did in my classes, cause if anything went bad I might not be staying in college cause my dad warned me about all that. And if things do work out I'll be moving into the same dorm room as one of them that way we can both be open and decorate all we want to, stuff like that. Well, see you all aorund!

I wish you luck with your classes. School isn't always easy but some times one just needs to buckle down and take care of business.

I'm glad you have folks in RL that you can be yourself with. It does help. '<img'>

They know and seem interested in it and have asked many questions. I've tried to answer what I can, but since it means so many things all I have is my own view. I've been showing them a few sites including this one so maybe they will make an appearance.

WARNING STRONG LANGUAGE!!!!!!!!!!!

':goldfrown:' '<img'>

Well, to hell with my happiness and moral so it seems. Rumors are flying around UWA now that I'm gay and sleeping with all these men, including my own Fraternity Brothers. Thes assholes spreading these rumors don't have the flippin' balls to come right up to me and say what they think. No they go behind my damn back and say this crap. One, wether or not I am gay is my business and no one else's. Two, if I sleep with people, yet again that is my business not anyone else's. One of these worthless shits even slashed one of my tires. If I find out I'll probably be writing you all from jail next time '<img'> . Two of my Fraternity Brothers are helping spread crap and avoid me. Well, I'm gonna fix this flippin' mess, if not make it worse. Sunday is our weekly meeting. I'm gonna ask how they all feel about 'fags' and then I'm gonna tell them about me. If they don't like me for it then I quyite and they can all rot in hell for all I care.

When I went home last night, my mom knew something was wrong and kept bugging me over and over. Well, eventually I broke down and came out to her alone. She said she wasn't mad, she just didn't like it. She also said as long as I keep it out of her house then she has no real problem with it.

That is all my good news. Right now I'm collecting all that I own that has anything to do with TKE and if they cannot accept me I'm giving it to them along with how I feel.

':goldcry:' ':goldcry:' ':goldcry:' ':goldcry:' ':goldcry:'

*big brotherly woofie hug*  Bro, please don't do anything silly, but also don't let them get to you.  Who cares about them anyways?  If they can't accept you as you are, then you absolutely don't deserve them as friends.  They aren't worthy.

If you need to talk, please IM me, or PM me.  *puts paw on shoulder*

Take care.  I have your back. '<img'>

Thanks Patrick... I know I shouldn't do anything but it hurts..a lot. Especially from my frat brothers. The one guys that I swore oaths to and they swore back to care for, love, and protect each of our fellow brothers. We are "Brothers in the Bond" we should not settle into discention, but that doesn't really seem to matter sometimes.

Least I know I can count on my brother here and that means more than you may ever know. For you I'll try and control myself, but I'm not sure how much more I can take. I feel like fighting, just beating the Bejesus out of someone. But for my friends here I will strive to curb that anger.

Tonight I'm gonna talk to my new friend here on campus and we are going to a place called the 'QC' or "Queer Club". Then Sunday, like I said, I'm coming out to my Fraternity. Tis earlier then I wanted to, but its all I know to do. The lie is getting old and is now causing problems. Me and my classes are suffering from this. Please just let it end soon.

Well, I told half of my Fraternity and many of them said its not a problem to them and thats cool. A few of them have already distanced themselves from me. My Fraternity President, or Prytanis, has advized me not to wear my letters to any 'gay' events and to avoid being to open because of the impact it may have on the general well-being of the fraternity. I understand that because a nother fraternity here has become known as th 'Pi Kappa Fags' do to a few brother's coming out. The reactions of the rest of my Frat Bros wil determine if I stay or not. I'm thinking I should just save some trouble and do it now, but I will wait for what they feel.

Sounds like you made a big step! I know it must have been hard but like you said, you had to say something. Rumors do have a way having getting completely out of context and that is a big problem.

Good luck with the rest of your Frat brothers. Hopefully, they won't want you to leave just because of your sexuality. '<img'>
