"Body Mods" - a retelling of a common story

Last night I was inspired to pound out this short story.  It's not quite flash fiction, but it's pretty short (only about 1400 words/3 pages).

What happens when Jake decides he wants to make his own decisions, instead of letting his parents control his life?
