"Squonk and the Lake Monster" by P.M. Butler

I heard about this story from one of the writers in my critique group.  They all know that I'm into furry fiction, so they've started pointing it out to me when they see it.  Anyway, it's a pretty cute story about a talking dragon and his friends, a raccoon and a raven.   Apparently, there are a couple more stories about this character, though I haven't looked into those yet.

I just listened to "Squonk and the Horde of Apprentices," and it's really cute:  http://podcastle.org/2010/09/28/podcastle-124-squonk-and-the-horde-of-apprentices/  These podcasts are done really well with entertaining voices, and the story was very amusing.
