Post by: Mikron on November 29, 2005, 10:22:26 pm
this came out great, and tastes really good, or at least i think so ^-^!

1 lb. ground beef
1/4 cup woreshire sauce
1/4 tsp. sage
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. italian seasoning
1/4 tsp. parsely
1 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup tomato paste
1/2 cup chopped celery

preheat oven to 450 degrees F
in a large bowl, using your hands (washed thoroughly), break up the ground beef, gradually fold in the onions and celery.  keep folding until all the vegetables are mixed entirely throughout the meat.  add the tomato paste and  fold it in well for 1-2 minutes to make sure its completely intergrated.

wash hands well and mix all the herbs into the woreshire sauce with a spoon or knife tip, mix the herbs in well so the entire mixture is combined.  pour the mixture into the bowl and fold it into the meat for 2 minutes.  mold the mound of meat into a loaf -like shape and place in a greased pan large enough to give the meatloaf plenty of space to cook without being cramped.  place in ovenb for 1 hour.

(for individual servings only)  before serving sprinkle some motzerella cheese over the slice of meatloaf (optional) pour a small amount of barbeque sauce over the meatloaf if so desired.

eat and enjoy!

Are your herbs fresh or dried?

mine are dry, only because of convience...

if you have it, fresh is just as good, but if you use fresh herbs, make sure to chop them up very finely.
