I can't get enough of the VIDEO!    When I first saw it, I was absolutely hooked and listened to the song for like 3 days straight while drawing.    People have already dissected the video.

My friends and I found this when it was still under 1 million views, and we'd just have it play on repeat while we'd play games. The one guy, who knows absolutely no Korean, has basically memorized the song (though he's managed to memorize a disturbingly high amount of youtube videos that go viral...).

From what I've seen, US geek culture really embraces k-pop. The songs are usually very catchy, and the music videos are just... indescribable. Who cares if you have no idea what the words mean. It's fun music

It's all Korean. The genre of music is known as "K-pop", which basically just means that it is Korean pop music. So it's the kind of thing you'd hear on the radio over there, or what you would see on their version of MTV (well, if it actually played music videos anymore).

After seeing it a couple times, I bought the song and got the music video. Alone, the song just seems like a typical catchy pop tune that's very danceable. Add the ridiculousness of the video and its choreography and lolololol, I love it. <3

Heh, I actually saw this months ago. About early summer time, actually. I really like the song. I like the singer. He is quirky and very up beat and gives us American listeners a few words we understand to relate to us, which works very well. I also like Right Now and have Gangnam Style on my iPod

At Halloween me and the Acting class all dressed up for our lesson.  I became a wolfie and did gangnam style .

Even better though was we got taken to a nursary and a library and no one was scared of us.  I got hi fived by the younglins.
