Favorite breads?

Not really an exciting topic, but we thought we'd ask anyway. And btw, this doesn't just include your standard sandwich-makings bread. This includes stuff like banana nut bread, pumpkin bread, chocolate bread, etc. We personally like our recipe for Chocolate Zucchini Bread. We make it so it has almost the same texture as cake. And you can barely tell that there is zucchini in it at all.   :D

Breads are exciting!

Banana breads are especially good, especially with nuts.  :D  Yum!

I hate nuts!  >:(

Zucchini bread is good too. :) I like a good rye bread for roast beef & swiss on rye, or making rueben sandwiches. :)

Bread is best fresh. :)

Although I have to admit, corn bagles are addicting...

(P.S : there is a distinct diffrrence between corn bread and corn bagles...)

Gotta love good corn bread. It's always a shame though when it comes out soggy...  :(

Ooo I love bread...

Sourdough, croissant bread (especially the tasty buttery flaky kind oooooooooooooo), corn bread, pumpkin spice bread....these are the best in my opinion.

Banana bread is so-so. It's really hard to get it just the right flavor, and just the right texture (yecch I hate soggy bread).

Texture is always one of the hardest things to get right for us. It really depends on what you are going for. We have found that sweeter breads often go better with a more cake-like texture to them, while less sweet breads like pumpkin can be good with a less dense texture. On the other hand, flavor really is a factor as well. Stronger flavors can go well with denser breads, and lighter flavors with less dense ones. But that's just from our experiences. Cooking is really an art in and of itself, and it always varies based on the artist.

mmm. I love Corn, Raisin, Banana nut, and Pumpkin. Though I'll pass on Zuccini and the other veggie breads. :)
