Hey, I've got a question for those of you who've been to FC before.
I'm going to FC 06, and it is both my first FC and my first furry convention of any kind. I'll be selling at a Furry Marketplace (NOT a dealer's room) table there. I plan on mostly having ear and tail sets.
I have been to other conventions, just not furry ones.
I have manned dealer's room tables before, and have done lot sof other public selling venues, such as street fairs and local festivals.
But, since this is my first furry convention, I'm not quite certain what to expect here, in terms of sales (what kinds of things do people want to buy?) in terms of atmosphere (what's the marketplace like? Do people consider us second class to the people who are in the dealer's room? Are there a lot of other tail sellers there?) and also in terms of those little tiny details that there's no way to anticipate but that would be great to know in advance. (I mean... ConDuit has a weird thing where you can just set up in the hall and start selling stuff, and nobody cares. I wish I'd know that when I went, or I'd have brought things to sell! )
In short, does anybody have any advice for me? Or any requests? *grins* I'm starting to sew tails to sell there now, so if there's something you'd like to get, I could certainly make it and bring it along.
