Well, its official. I'm planning on going to AC '05 in Philedelphia, Pennsylvania July 7-10, 2005.

For Information:
http://www.anthrocon.org

I'm really wanting to find a group of 4-6 people for a room to share and I really would love it if I could find someone to ride with from down here in the south (Alabama). Of course I'm definitly willing to throw out some gas money and I'm definitly up for getting a suite at the Adams Mark hotel (the main one at AC) to chill in and maybe have a room party. '<img'> ^_^

This is going to be the absolute best con that I've ever been too. I can't wait to hear from all of you guys that are planning on going. Again, I'm so hoping that some of you would be willing to go int with me and get a room together '<img'>

*NOTE: I have been to the AC site and read some of the discussions, AC will not be moving to Pittsburgh until AC 2007 if they move there at all '<img'>*

^_^ ;3 I R FAWKS! ;3 ^_^

My annual plan includes AC, although Morphicon is higher on my priority list currently.  I have some Ohio Furs that I have been dieing to meet.

But plans for AC must be made well in advance.  The Adams Mark fills up fast.  I was checking out the site last year and remember seeing that it was full well in advance.

The key would be to at least get a room reserved.

Sorry, all--
July means Family Vacation. Usually Relatives fly here and we spend Fourth of July week at MouseLand. (Heads up, Katty!'<img'>

So I'll have to be satisfied with all the pictures you take and hearing all the stories you tell.

But hey, FWA is only 76 days away, I'll get to see you all soon!

I won't be going for 2005 due to unavailability of financial resources (money).  ''  But I do hope to make it for 2006. And if I fail that, then it will probably be better if I go in 2007 when AC moves to a bigger venue in Pittsburgh.

I'm really hoping to go, if I can get the money. I would gladly share a room with you, Teiganas, if you don't mind my boyfriend being there too (we wouldn't do anything nasty).
I can't drive, but if anyone thinks they might be going past Raleigh, NC and could pick me up, of course I'd pay for my share of gas!

Oh, that'd be awesome Sskessa! The more the merrier! The bad thing is, we really need to get a room reserved now while the AM isn't filled up. If I had a credit card I could do this for us no problem, but since I'm 19 and my parents won't let me get one, I can't '<img'> So if we can get a couple more people together to share the room, and someone makes the reservation, I'll pitch in a bit extra on the room cost '<img'> ^_^

I'm sorry to hear that Sno-pack, I know how financial problems can be, trust me. *hugs* I bet you'll make it to 2006 though '<img'>

Sporty, wanna come share the room with me and Sskessa's Boyfriend and Sskessa?

We aren't sure as yet for ourselves. I know we will be at Morphicon as we head the Hospitality Suite and WS does the 'Internet Room' thing. (smiles)

If our van holds out and we have some extra money, we will be making the trip I am sure.

Does any one know what a room generally costs there or how to get ahold of the hotel? I'm gonn TRY, it is actually pretty cheap if I get the ticket out there in march as a fur here in town was telling me , he has flown out round trip for only 200  every year getting his ticket then.  But I'm not making any promises.

Sporty, wanna come share the room with me and Sskessa's Boyfriend and Sskessa?

Thanks, I am going to be looking to share a room with someone, but I'm getting a little old for a partying room. I need at least 7-8 hours of good rest to be able to walk in the morning -bad back- and I don't rest good in a crowd. That doesn't mean I won't stop by someone elses room for some partying-I'd love to and want to- just that I need a nice quiet room to return to afterwards  '<img'>
If anyone is looking to share a quiet room with one or two other furs then I'm interested. Smoking, drinking, etc doesn't bother me, just would like the ability to sleep in a fairly peaceful environment.

Edit: I'll be driving up from the middle of Virginia and passing thru the D.C. area, so if someone along the way needs a lift I'll be happy to pick them up.

Well, I wasn't guranteeing a room party. 4 people in the room would be awesome on the cost and I would really love to have ya in there  '<img'> Trust me, at AC, there will be plenty of room parties we can get involved in, so there's not much need to really have one of our own, right? '<img'> ^_^

I might go....  I don't know if I'd be driving, though -- it depends on timing w/ work, but maybe I'll take my Caddy up 95 if it makes it without any problems 'till then.  I'd like to take her on a road trip, anyway....  Besides, I have a lot of friends up north I'd like to see again....

It's a long time from now, though, so I have no idea what will come about....  I'll definately post here if I'm going, closer to the event....

Man, I'd really like to go. I'm just not creative enough to come up with a good enough lie to my parents. '<img'> That and I'd feel bad about lying to them. I don't see myself going to any conventions until I'm completely on my own.

Sounds like a lot of fun though. Hope you guys have a fun time. '<img'>

Gr. Donald (boyfriend) and I were talking about it, and he says we probably don't have the money to go. Next year we start college, and we need to have all the money we possibly can saved up. The more I think about it, the more right he is. We won't be going next year. '<img'>

Hey, you still have 226 days to save up a little money! How much do you spend a day on soda's, smokes (if you do), drinks, movie rentals, etc? If you can find just a few bucks here and there it'll add up pretty quickly!

LOL hmm... I don't drink sodas. I don't smoke. I don't drink alcohol and I don't rent movies.... Well, so much for me saving up money by cutting ALL those things out! '<img'> '<img'> '<img'>

I know if we manage to go we will be wanting to share a room. Non-smoking, non-drinking (of alcohol that is)

This may be a dumb question, but do you have a job? If so you can work a little overtime here and their for some extra cash.

I paid for Anthrocon 2004, 100% with what I get paid working at McDonalds. If I can do it working at McDonalds, anyone can. ':p'
