::::: I'm posting new art and links in this topic instead of starting new topics for each peice. Please scroll to the last page to see my latest work. :::::

I know, I'm a bad kitty for not posting anything for so long. I've been working too much this past year that I haven't had time for anything other than the bare necessities.

So I'll update you here with the few things I did so far this year.

First was a sketch I did in Skitzo Kitty's sketchbook at FC'04. Done with pencils:

Second was a sketch of my husband's character, Quinthera. Inked:

Third was a pic I did with Quin and Sumarra sharing some quality grooming time. Inked:

And last I did about a week ago. We moved to Washington State last month and I'm still burried in boxes and packing materials. Pencils:

And since I've moved to the states I'm waiting for residency papers which means I can't join the work force, leaving me with a lot more time on my hands. So I've finally been able to get caught up!

I just finished this piece yesturday and I'm pretty happy with it. Left over from Conifur04, 'Mac' is a combination of tabbycat, wolf, and horse... heh, it was a challenge. ':p'

Elix, a friend of mine over in Vancouver Island, BC showed me a new outfit of his on Taps. It inspired me and this is what happened!

just a couple of updates since the last one:

'All Yours' - (01/05) An art trade in progress with my good friend Shadarack. This picture is of him and his mate. They are Â© their players, of course.

'Sethrech K'rath' (01/05) An inspiration that came to me one evening. Seth was long over due for a new pic and a book I have has helped improve his look. And it just wouldn't be proper to exclude his favorite weapon - DeathBlight his warhammer - hung proudly on the wall above his old mercenary shield.

'Becky - Cirque du Soleil' (04/05) As the title says, I was watching Cirque du Soleil one night and the costumes were so inspiring that I had to draw one - and who better to model than Becky? This was one of those sketches where my mind went 'Eureka!' I've been struggling with drawing hair for a long time and it feels like something clicked in my mind... finally!
Medium - Ink. Time - approx. 5 hours.

Just starting to get back into it since the accident and I have a few things on que.... heh as always I suppose. But I should be working on a paid comission next.

This started as a little something for my friend Shadarack Tailroam but it turned into an art trade. This is Shad and his pet (who still hasn't told me what her character name is) so the characters are both Â© Josh Huhges for now.
Medium - Tria Markers and color pencils on Bristol. Time - approx. 10 hours just for coloring.

I'm quite pleased with how this turned out.

hehe, it's hard to keep up with all of them. Once in a while I post to the announcements area to let everyfur know I'm alive and still doing stuff so they can pop by here and see my other stuff.

I was really happy with how this last one turned out. I'm getting much better at shading with color. It took me a while to realize you have to use a combination of several colors just to make something look like a particular color (like brown, black, red, chestnut, and white just to make brown stripes). Bleh, greyscale is so much easier! ':p'

There is a tonne of things porportionally wrong with Oracle, I know. BUt it was only a quick sketch and running out of paper didn't help. If I finish it I'll fix it first.

I really like her pose though so I'll use that again.

The first commission of "Mac" went over so well I was recommissioned to do her again with some slight modifications. I'm really pleased with the outcome.... even though it took way too long.

Nice job.
The detail, and color look very nice.
The trees in the background show the
wind blowing same as the characters hair.

(10.05) Here's a new pic of Toby. I needed more of him and this will be going into the coloring book I will be selling at Conifur in the Dealer's Den. I was able to get a live model for the pose and I love it. This one took me 3 1/2 hours to complete and Tobias Blackroot is Â© Sumarra Pethran. (Thanks again for the name, Ulario!

A long time ago I said I was going to draw another gryphon. I figured it's about time I did. So this lovely creature will be joining Toby and the rest in my coloring book.
