The forum BB Code doesn't allow for that, as far as I know. I'd definitely recommend posting a link instead.

(BTW, if you're planning to create a new thread to share a video, odds are it belongs in the Photography and Video forum.) ;)

Embedding videos so that it looks like a movie screen image appears or whatever other way YT or Photobucket vid images appear, to the best of my knowledge isn't allowed on the forums. This may have been a forum setting changed by WS long ago. I do know the rules for embedding vids in any forum can be found here:

Some forums have BBC video embeding enabled, so you might see that around where people use BBC to do that,  but not here.  (:
