New series Beast Complex Vol.1 comes out next week Tuesday. This series looks to be set in the same timeframe/universe as Beastars, but does not have any Beastars characters in it.

Kobuk, I've read some of the Bestars Complex. It's a lot of unrelated short stories. And I mean short. To me it reads like a bunch of random thoughts that never got into the main story.

It's different but in a good way. I enjoyed the short stories at least it's something after the manga ended.

Started watching the second season. Subtitled. Just as dark as the first.

OK. No spoilers and no details. The manga and the anime are almost two different stories. Finished up the subtitled anime for season two. Well worth the watch. Not going to say the story they went with is bad. Just about as far from the manga as "Alice in wonderland" is from 'Tank Girl'. Would love to see a non Netflix version of this series.

Indeed it has a different feel to it and there were parts I liked about it and some parts I wish they would've kept in the story. I don't know if we'll get a season 3 but if we do I'll be very pleased

I feel like that is the right way of looking at the anime. Based on the manga because the story telling differs a bit between them.

Got Vol.12 manga delivered today. Had the whole thing read in an hour or so. Can hardly wait for Vol.13.

I also got Vol 12. But it is saved with Vol 11,10 and 9 I never read.
Why?

So I can re-read Vol 1-8, then do vol 9-12 back to back before I forget a whole bunch, again.

Beastars Season 3 will be the final season on Netflix. Kinda excited not gonna lie.
