If you're a non-fursuiter and you wish to hug and greet the fursuiters you meet at events, then please do not hug and greet a fursuiter if you yourself have not showered and taken care of yourself. Some fursuiters can be picky about who they will want to hug and/or greet them. If you did not take the time to properly bathe and use deodorant, a fursuiter may notice as the smell of your body odor permeates through the head mask and they will take notice and move away from you. Fursuiters want to try and keep their suits looking and smelling as good as can be when appearing in public. Having a non-suiter's body odor rubbing off on a person's fursuit is just plain gross.
