Title: [SPOILER] to TKD-Wolf's Maze #1
Post by: TKD-Wolf on June 15, 2005, 01:53:17 am
*Spoiler alert*

The arrow I had planned on moving, was the third on up, one over(from bottom left), and making it point to the left. But you can turn the third one up second over, or the second up , second over to the right, and the maze will still work. Oh well. It was fun to think up.

as it stands you travel through these:

>   >   >   \/   <
/\  >   \/   >   \/
/\  >   \/   \/  <
>   /\  \/   >   \/
/\   /\  <  \/   O

Since we can only change one it must be one of these to have any effect. Further, it must be one that we can change to get to a neighboring one we cannot get to. This leaves:

>   >   >   \/   <
/\  >   \/   >   \/
/\  >   \/   \/  <
>   /\  \/   >   \/
/\   /\  <  \/   O

Now, looking at each of these, if we change the one on the bottom row then the path will lead off the grid. So that one is out. The other four, however, can all be changed to make it work.
