Title: Furtopia and WinSCP
Post by: Rimpala on November 28, 2007, 11:13:51 pm
I'm currently trying to see if I can access my furtopia website using WinSCP but am not able to connect - I'm no sure I even know what the host name is.

Doesn't anyone know what the host name would be and weather you could even use WinSCP in the first place?

Seeing as how I can't even get an SSH connection to the server in question (they're all the same IP address, so it should only matter during the key exchange), I'm going to guess that SCP, which requires SSH, is simply not available (to us, in any event).

Of course, this is just my guess, not being in charge of anything server-related.

WhiteShepherd would be the best to answer that type of question though I do know our main server is still down and that might have something to do with it.

Right now Furtopia only supports two upload methods Standard(or passive) FTP and PHP-upload.

I do have plans to add SSH support to ftp in the near future however.
