Playing Avernum 4. What it lacks in graphics it more than makes up for in storytelling and scene setting. I love this series and the series by the same company called Geneforge.

It's very hard to get vitamin D in Australia because you get sunburn so quickly in summer and it's very hot outside. (Just came out of a heatwave)

I live in an inland on the East part of Australia. I live in a developing City which is actually 2 cities together(They are separated by a river). Together both these cities have a population of 106,052. I live in Albury which has a population of 45,627. In Albury I live in a Suburb called Thurgoona which has a population of 6,160. In that suburb I attend a small private Christian school. (Now I've put enough info on the internet to be stalked. Meh)

I hate this, i mean, they take something with no scientific basis whatsoever and try to sell it off as fact.Yep. I know exactly what you mean. Some people use religion to determine what they think on certain issues and use religion as their way to try to back up their beliefs (Narrow-mindedness). Sadly I'm surrounded by some of those types of people.

my nose bleeds easy too :(I went to the hospital after I had a really bad nose bleed that lasted for many hours (can't remember how long). I lost allot of blood and almost passed out and everything was going blurry (it was scary). They put some sort of pain killer stuff up your nose so it doesn't hurt as much. They then use silver nitrate to burn off blood vessels. After that I had to see a specialist where she treated me a couple of times in the same way. (You have to get it done a couple of times by a specialist to make sure that it is completely sealed etc..) So for me it was...

cauterizing is when they burn a wound closed. the way it works is that they just take some thing that can produce a lot of heat and burn/melt the wound to close it.

I wouldnt say i get them TOO frequently, but i guess it depens on what you mean by "frequently"If it gets problematic you should get your nose cauterized. (actually, you should probably do it before it becomes problematic) That way you won't get blood noses anymore ^.^

I was crying after my family had a go at me for wanting to do science at university. (my sister constantly yelling at me and my mum questioning my ethics. They don't want me dissecting animals which is actually only a minor part of studying biology. They don't seem to get that though.)
I then went to my room to cry alone and I was then rudely interrupted by my dad who then talked to me about "university courses" and "not feeling locked in" to what I want to do. (he wants me to look at other options" such as architecture which I really hate. I was too polite to ask him to leave but I really wanted him to. Then after my dad left my sister rudely interrupted me, not to apologize but to try to make herself feel better by repeating what she said again to me and saying that I should do environmental science or something and then take a bridging course if I want. She then left my room and interupted me another 3 or 4 times while I was trying to write this message.
This is a good example of my family once again wrecking my life and making me feel miserable.

Scratching my head over the final boss battle in Borderlands. I defeated the boss with just four clips from my machine gun, and i took absolutely no damage. I'm less disappointed as i am confused. :P

As a western WA state resident for only 13 years, I can attest most of the people out here have no clue how to manage the heat and it bothers us deeply.
We still try to do our regular activities, but don't prepare for them correctly nor respect the heat. I'm slowly figuring out how and when I can exercise ny dog. So far that means having plenty if hydrating fluids on hand always, and only going out to exercise extremely early in the morning or late at night.
But we still make plenty of stupid, dangrous mistakes like the cycling buddies you saw.
Just downloaded an app for learning different languages. it's going alright so far. It's called Duolingo.Oh cool what are you going to be learning? I'm starting to learn my home country's language (Ukrainian, to no surprise it's easy for me). We also might be planning a trip there next summer and maybe Czech Republic.

I've never done it. But have heard for years that these two pieces of media line up perfectly. Even talked to people who said they had watched it done. I wouldn't put it past Pink Floyd to do something this off the wall crazy.
Well didn't get me a playstation. But did start playing on line poker again. For free. Not paying to play. Today I had something happen that is statistically impossible. I got the same three hands. Each time in a different suit. For 15 minutes strait. K3, A3 and 9,8. Over and over and over. Now if you know anything about poker you'd know all three hands are not playable. Bad hands isn't the problem. Getting these same three hands for 15 minutes strait is. I've also played where no matter what cards I got I would or could have won. I stop playing when that happens too. It's no fun if the game is being handed to you.
Spent a bit of time browsing fursuit maker websites. Wow, what a difference makes. :o When I first got my husky suit back in 2006, my suit cost $1400. Now when I see prices for a full suit, mainly toony, the prices have skyrocketed to around $3000 to $4000+. :o Realistic full fursuits are anywhere between $5000 to $10k. :o
I can't help but wonder what prices will be like in another 5-10 years. If I wanted another fursuit, guess I'd better start playing lottery tickets or looking for a $75,000k a year job. :(

I have my doubts you'd find a maker who can do all that without going over $2500. But........anythings possible I guess. $2500 was probably the "norm" for a full fursuit 5-10 years ago. But now.........$3000 or above seems to be the new norm. At least from what I'm seeing anyway.

The've never contacted me before. But by using what's been said and done in the past by the 'in' crowd and moderator. It's simple. I'm not playing the blues. I'm not demonstrating blues techniques. The same as in the past. I didn't violate any forum rules. In the past folks would post and verbally thrash me. I would answer back. Stating I'm helping folks play more than just one music genre. Instead of deleting the thrashing posts the entire thread would be deleted. Surprised this thread is still up. In the mean time I'll be getting that Youtube channel together. Because I'm a rat. All I want to do is help people have more fun. A cigar box guitar is no different from any other real musical instrument. The more you know the more fun you'll have playing it. The type of music someone plays should come from the heart. Not from a popular belief.

Dreading a house full of 15 people and no dog during thanksgiving.
It's Jan the fifth. About 50 outside and I'm listening to someone mowing their lawn. It's January the fifth in about the middle of Missouri and someone is mowing their lawn. It's in the middle of winter and i'm listening to some crazy mowing their lawn. I don't really understand what you mean by "look like dog claws". You could file them, shape and stick on a false nail out of finger clay and paint them I suppose. Hope you wouldn't want to do anything too intensive with your hands while you have them tho.

Preparing for week 2 of medical testing starting tomorrow. I've got an MRI on Tuesday, a CT on Thursday, and then the results from those and the samples and bloods that I had taken last week.Good luck.

Well... turned neighbor in for animal neglect. They left 2 dogs outside for almost 7 hours in 15F weather, with strong wind. No dog house. No dog door
No one home
No food. No water. Nothing. It's been cloudy here no sun to warm them. Then at night no clouds, meaning Temps will drop more.
Someone finally came and put dogs in. After I called.
I took photos every hour of dogs and my thermometer. They were shivering and balled up against the fence. .
This is not the first time this has happened. This is just the first time I've called. Previously someone else called. These dogs need to go to somewhere else.
. . .Ah i see. Then in that casevi would say the call was justified and hope something happens to get those dogs out of there.
