Hawiian meatloaf

I came up with this one by just substituting the pasta sauce and catsup with crushed pineapple and hoisin sauce.  I really liked the way it came out:

1 egg
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1/2 medium-sized onion
1.25 lb. ground beef
Hoisin sauce (good amount)
Garlic powder
Basil/Thyme or other spices

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Drain pineapple and save some of the juice and put just a little of the crushed pineapple aside to make a glaze.  Cut up the onion into small pieces and mix the rest of the ingredients together in a bowl with a fork.  Put into a small loaf pan and cover and put into the oven with holes in the bottom and a small pan underneath for the grease to drain into (or use a meatloaf pan).  Make a glaze with some sugar, pineapple juice, hoisin sauce and flower while it's cooking and add enough crushed pineapple for consistancy.  After 30 minutes or so remove from oven and glaze.  Put back into the oven for about another 30 minutes until done.  Serve with rice or something.
