Furriness at work
« on: January 19, 2005, 04:57:35 pm »
I've just recently put up a few furry related things in my cubicle at work.  One of them is a 2005 tiger (non anthro) calendar.  The other is a print out of the pic that my new avatar is taken from.  It's not very visible unless you are right in my cubicle though.  I'm thinking of putting more stuff in here, but I don't really know what.

Anyone else have furry related decoration at work?

Got a few things at the office...
Have a plush fox, a selection of beanies (including foxes, bear in a foxsuit, black panther and tiger), a mirror with fox head painted on it (from my mate), some pictures of me in suits, a 'funky fox' cloth hanger from Hokkaido, plus a wedding photo (all of us in fursuit).  Also have a variety of cartoon stuff.
'' Actually, that sounds like more than a 'few'!  '<img'>

The wall paper on my laptop is my fursona playing guitar and wearing a t-shirt for the band I'm in.

I use to display the con badge of my fursona I had done by J Willard, but at the moment I shuttle between two different office spaces, so haven't felt that either cubicle is mine to decorate.  That's changing however, as I'll be at the client site 90% of the time and I may put it up in my cubicle there.

i dont have an actual job so i dont. but when i do get one if i had my own special work space i would.
the same for when i get my own place, you would be able to tell i'm furry. i think that might be when i tell my parents.... when i no longer live there

The job i recently got booted from, i had a fox plushie and a kitten plushie,
and a printed out framed picture on the desk of a wolf holding leaves being blown away in the wind, gradually turning into butterflies.

Just my desktop, which is Dizzy the Purple Cat, and I have a Felix the Cat squishy toy.  I'm gonna hang up a flyer for FWA, though, right now (I'll print it out from their site.)

I need to keep space, though, to hang up all the stupid cases I'm working on.

EDIT:  Huh?  I went to download the flyer from their site and I get "error 404: File not found."

plus a wedding photo (all of us in fursuit).

Party Pony:  Why not share your wedding photos of you, your wife, and guests in fursuits, in the Photography forum? I, as well as other furs, would be most interested in seeing them.  '<img'>

In my office I have a fox calendar, several pieces of vulpine art on the wall (one's a real original oil), and a couple of fox figurines.  I also have a framed commissioned drawing of myself as fursona, but keep it hidden.  This is a treasure...I'm seated at a desk writing with a flaming pen.  As there are others who have hanging pics of dogs or cats, I'm just thought to be slightly out of the mainstream...  '<img'>

Tuesday I gave a PowerPoint presentation to some people from the Dept. of Education and contractors working on a Dept of Education program.  The presentation was done on my laptop and when I finished and shut everything down, they all got a glimpse of my wallpaper, which is my fursona playing guitar.

A couple people laughed at seeing it, but that was the only reaction.  Earlier we all were commenting on how someone else had Elmo and Winnie the Pooh program icons on his desktop that were there for some games he installed for his children.

It doesn't really scream furry, but I always slip in a Sonic sprite or two into my Powerpoint presentations if they aren't meant to be a completely serious endeavor. Always gets a few laughs as I usually try to tie them into an appropriate joke. For example I'll put an impatient Sonic and yawning Tails at the end.

I have a DMFA desktop on my computer at the library I do voluntary work at and my desk I study at has two furry pictures I drew pinned above it. Next year when I start 'proper' work I'll probably pin up a picture of Holly, the character I draw most.

No job yet, I'm searching.
But when I get a job I will always be wearing my cat ears.

If I have a desk of some kind at my job, no doubt it will be covered in my framed furry art, plushies.

I don't work in an office; I work in a sandwich shop. Everyday I've got my tag on under my shirt. I'd wear my ring, but I can't wear rings at work... but I'm never without my tag, even if it isn't visible.
