That is so cool I was thinking of getting one but you know you can never get rid of it if you ever needed to.
I just got a great idea I need 2 cans of paint a spoon, a yard of string and 3 sticks of gum.

Temporary tattoo's '<img'> Id never get one because of the reason you just said as well. Like screen names, obsessions and the appeal of whatever your into that moment, it fades and you end up wanting something else. But thats not a BIG tattoo so Im sure you wont end up wanting it gone.

Very cool tattoo.
Memory, prophecy and fantasy -
the past, the future and
the dreaming moment between -
are all in one country,
living one immortal day.

To know that is Wisdom

To use it is the Art.

Some things never change : )

The appeal of the tattoo, I think, for those that do it, is the fact that it IS permanent.

I put it in a place where no one can see it unless I show it to them, too, because its for me. Its like a talisman in a way, an every day reminder of something profoundly meaningful to me. I thought about it for years, off and on, before I did it, and when I went to get it, I was sure, after all that time, that this was something that be meaningful to me twenty years from now.

Its about who I am, who I want to be, what I admire most in the world, and what I believe in. I cannot see myself regretting it.

But yeah, these are not things I think to get without thinking about. Its there and its very hard to do anything about it if you have second thoughts. I'd say, if the thought has crossed your mind, just take all the time you need to be sure. Its never a thing that has to be rushed. And too, its probably important to know that external symbols arent always important. I think they can be nice and even helpful, in a way, but its what they represent thats important : )

They need to invent an ink that can be evaporated or completely erased from the skin with a certain light or radiation. That would be cool.

And I guess your right...Some do it because they want something permenant in they're life...but In my case...I dont understand that. Probably because ive never needed that feeling.
