A exworker for Trumps father tells news person that Trump agreed with his
father about not renting appartments to Black People.. Even agreing when
his father used the "N" word about Blacks.

Trump should appoligize for this and show evidence he has changed.

Link to the news story.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/11/05/politics/trump-rushed-off-stage-at-campaign-rally/index.html

Real or fake? DT is rushed off stage due to an incident at one of his speeches because somebody yelled "Gun!" even though no gun was found.
First of all, any threat against any Presidential candidate is taken very, very seriously by the Secret Service. I call this whole incident crap because no Secret Service agents or other law enforcement agencies would ever allow Trump back on stage or allow his rally to go on. There would've been a more lengthy and formal investigation by all available law enforcement agencies. The fact that Trump was able to get back on stage minutes after being rushed off makes me suspicious. And the way the Secret Service agents took Trump off stage seemed too slow to me. If there was a threat, they would've moved a lot more faster with greater urgency. I have to wonder if he rigged the whole thing just to get sympathy and support from his followers and gain media attention. Next thing you know, he'll twist this story to his advantage and distort facts and say that it was a plot by the Clinton campaign and her followers to make him look bad.

I am inclined to agree.. The Trump campain has hired people to stir up his
crowd. To start chants for Trump and against the democrats and the media.
This started  in the primaries. I wouldn't be surprised if he or those in his
campain felt perhaps they could get votes of sympathy if he could convince
people he was willing to put his life on the line for them.

Trump will stoop to anything short of something totally illegal to win.
I believe the GOP pressed the FBI to release the email thing because
Clinton was pushing double digits leading Trump. They would know this
kind of lead would cost them seats in the Senate and House. Perhaps
even to loose them both. With this possiblity looking at them they
would likely do anything to hurt Clintons lead. After all they don't mind
trying to keep people from voting.

We should remember Trump forces his self on women, so he is a
dirty old man along with being a lier and a cheat. Those in New York
city called him a Con Artist, not me.

According to the "Donald Trump News" page on Facebook which I recently viewed this morning, the DT campaign spin doctors are already classifying this as an "assassination attempt" even though the Secret Service and other authorities have already said that no gun was found and that a thorough search was done. They are also spinning that it was a paid Clinton supporter who caused all the ruckus.

Ok it's over. Trump won the election. I congratulate him for his win. But now
we shall see if there is any substance to all the hot air he was blowing over
the last 1 1/2 years.

Over the next 4 years he will either become a good president, or a man
who couldn't beat a skunk for a second term.

So far he seems to be acting well.. Time will tell if he continues to  act like
a president of the USA.

People claimed they wanted change, but they re elected the same old congress
and senate for the most part.  Change they will likely get is foreign policy and
that's about all.. The president doesn't make laws, taxes, tariffs or regulations.
the legislature does. But the president leads, so time will tell..

That's funny considering several media companies such as CNN were posting several fake pre-election polls (they manipulated the results) in favor of Hillary Clinton.

Here is the source Kobuk: http://www.butasforme.com/post/148453296126/cnn-rigged-poll-to-show-a-9-point-convention

They did not include people aged 18 - 34. This allowed them to manipulate the poll in their favor.

You know what really grinds my gears about Donald Trump? More so than his foul rhetoric and policies.

a) Look at any video of him making a speech and the way he talks. Notice how he keeps repeating words, phrases and sentences. Almost as if the guy had a damn speech impediment.  :P
b) What's with all the hand waving motions?  :o Are they some sort of cryptic signals to alert his supporters and other people about various things? His hand gestures remind me of the Landing Signal Officers on WWII aircraft carrier decks who had to use semaphore flags to help land approaching aircraft.  :D

Just learned the jobs trump saves is a scam. The company is getting millions in tax payer money to keep the doors open for a hand full of the original work force. They plan to automate the factory. This will cost even more jobs. So trump is paying the rich 70M to do exactly what they were going to do before trump "saved" American jobs. He's a scam.

Why not? Don't you agree he should be recognised alongside Hitler and Stalin? The Time Person of the Year is the "most influential" person of the year, regardless of whether that influence is good or bad.

I don't like the idea of taxpayer money going into random projects, but automation is overall a good thing. Sure, it loses jobs - but it creates wealth. Whether the resulting savings will be passed on to the public remains to be seen though.

I would say automation is a good thing as it should allow man to
do things men do best. Putting a nut on a bolt all day everyday is
a waste of man's intelligence.

Now all that said much of the money saved by automation should be used
to help make society better. Help reduce costs for health care and learning.

The goal of automation should be to free mankind from repetitive labor,
not to make a few people super rich, and the rest poor. After all if every
one is poor who will buy the products?

Exactly - hit the nail on the head. Even if healthcare and learning don't get directly influenced, any sort of boost to general living status is good. If you have to pay less for food, gas, housing, etc. that's more money you can put towards schooling or other interests. It just sucks that so many people bearing that power don't contribute to that vision of their own volition. I can understand having a significant amount more than the general population, but the gap between the top 1% and the other 99% is ridiculous.

I saw this on Facebook and thought I'd show here. That's about the ONLY wall Donald Trump will ever get to build!  :D  :D

As far as Donald Trump's Presidential Inauguration goes, I have no wish to see/listen to it on Friday. It's just going to be more of Trump opening up his big fat lying mouth and brainwashing the American public into believeing whatever he wants them to believe. If I didn't trust him then during the Presidential debates and campaigns, then why should I trust him any more now?  :goldpissed:

Good one Kobuk..  I heard he is lower in the polls than any
president elect ever has been.  I think a lot of people are tired
of his wierd tweets. I don't think people find his choices for
cabinet good either.

I havn't any plans to watch him make another speech either. I will
likely see news videos of him taking the oath of office. Even though
he will probably break his oath in the first week, it's not likely the GOP
will care.

Actually I think if any citizen had done what he has done over the last
two months they would be in jail. Discussing policy with a foreign
government could be called treason as a private citizen. It's likely
Obama didn't press this because he knew the GOP wouldn't back
him up, and he wanted to end his presidency in a good light.

Trepidation
Emotional
Apprehensive
Pessimistic
Doubtful
Confusion
Scared
Anger
Sadness
.......etc., etc.

I'm not sure what to feel concerning Trump's Presidential Inauguration tomorrow. All I, as well as others, can do is hope and pray that whatever happens during Trump's Presidency, that he will make the fairest, wisest, and correct choices when running this country (Though I highly doubt it.). But as an old saying goes: "Actions speak louder than words.".
All the "talk" that Trump gave during his long Presidential campaign and during the Presidential debates doesn't amount to a hill of beans.  :P Talk is cheap. It's the actions of a person that truly defines who a person is. We'll just have to wait and see how tomorrow and the next four years goes.

Good or bad Trump will be President. He can only be removed by
impeachment, and I doubt if the congress has the political backbone
to do it. Even if and when he breaks his oath of office.

The only affect we can have is with congress. If they still support Trump
if and when he commits an impeachable offense. Then it's time to vote
them out. People are elected to follow the constitution not politics. Many
of them will only follow the laws if we are willing to hold them accountable.

For those who may have missed DT's Inauguration speech last week Friday, here it is. The green text in the quote below are my own viewpoints.

http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/20/politics/trump-inaugural-address/index.html

Quote
Chief Justice Roberts, President Carter, President Clinton, President Bush, President Obama, fellow Americans, and people of the world: Thank you.

We, the citizens of America, are now joined in a great national effort to rebuild our country and to restore its promise for all of our people.
Together, we will determine the course of America and the world for years to come.
We will face challenges. We will confront hardships. But we will get the job done.

Every four years, we gather on these steps to carry out the orderly and peaceful transfer of power, and we are grateful to President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for their gracious aid throughout this transition. They have been magnificent.
Today's ceremony, however, has very special meaning. Because today we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another, or from one party to another -- but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you, the American People.

^ Power has always been with the American people. It's just that we've forgotten we ever had it and/or we "relinquished" it without giving much thought to why and how we did.

For too long, a small group in our nation's Capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost. Washington flourished -- but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered -- but the jobs left, and the factories closed.
The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories; their triumphs have not been your triumphs; and while they celebrated in our nation's capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.
That all changes -- starting right here, and right now, because this moment is your moment: it belongs to you.
It belongs to everyone gathered here today and everyone watching all across America. This is your day. This is your celebration. And this, the United States of America, is your country.

What truly matters is not which party controls our government, but whether our government is controlled by the people. January 20th 2017, will be remembered as the day the people became the rulers of this nation again. The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer.
Everyone is listening to you now.
You came by the tens of millions to become part of a historic movement the likes of which the world has never seen before. At the center of this movement is a crucial conviction: that a nation exists to serve its citizens.
Americans want great schools for their children, safe neighborhoods for their families, and good jobs for themselves. These are the just and reasonable demands of a righteous public.

But for too many of our citizens, a different reality exists: Mothers and children trapped in poverty in our inner cities; rusted-out factories scattered like tombstones across the landscape of our nation; an education system flush with cash, but which leaves our young and beautiful students deprived of knowledge; and the crime and gangs and drugs that have stolen too many lives and robbed our country of so much unrealized potential.

^ Can we get a Fact Check on this, please? Because it sounds like he is repeating some same stuff from the 2nd or 3rd Presidential Debate.

This American carnage stops right here and stops right now.
We are one nation -- and their pain is our pain. Their dreams are our dreams; and their success will be our success. We share one heart, one home, and one glorious destiny.
The oath of office I take today is an oath of allegiance to all Americans.
For many decades, we've enriched foreign industry at the expense of American industry; subsidized the armies of other countries while allowing for the very sad depletion of our military;

^ I wouldn't say our military is "depleted". It is rather downsized simply because we no longer are facing any "main" antagonists like we did during the Cold War from the 1950's to the late 1980's.

.....we've defended other nation's borders while refusing to defend our own; and spent trillions of dollars overseas while America's infrastructure has fallen into disrepair and decay.
We've made other countries rich while the wealth, strength, and confidence of our country has disappeared over the horizon.
One by one, the factories shuttered and left our shores, with not even a thought about the millions upon millions of American workers left behind.
The wealth of our middle class has been ripped from their homes and then redistributed across the entire world.
But that is the past. And now we are looking only to the future. We assembled here today are issuing a new decree to be heard in every city, in every foreign capital, and in every hall of power.
From this day forward, a new vision will govern our land.
From this moment on, it's going to be America First.

Every decision on trade, on taxes, on immigration, on foreign affairs, will be made to benefit American workers and American families. We must protect our borders from the ravages of other countries making our products, stealing our companies, and destroying our jobs. Protection will lead to great prosperity and strength.
I will fight for you with every breath in my body -- and I will never, ever let you down.
America will start winning again, winning like never before.
We will bring back our jobs. We will bring back our borders. We will bring back our wealth. And we will bring back our dreams.
We will build new roads, and highways, and bridges, and airports, and tunnels, and railways all across our wonderful nation.
We will get our people off of welfare and back to work -- rebuilding our country with American hands and American labor.
We will follow two simple rules: Buy American and hire American.
We will seek friendship and goodwill with the nations of the world -- but we do so with the understanding that it is the right of all nations to put their own interests first.
We do not seek to impose our way of life on anyone, but rather to let it shine as an example for everyone to follow.
We will reinforce old alliances and form new ones -- and unite the civilized world against radical Islamic terrorism, which we will eradicate completely from the face of the Earth.

At the bedrock of our politics will be a total allegiance to the United States of America, and through our loyalty to our country, we will rediscover our loyalty to each other. <--- So we're supposed to do what? Sing "All Praise Donald Trump!" every morning when we get up? Have banners and flags and pictures of leaders everywhere like in North Korea?

When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice. The Bible tells us, "How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity."
We must speak our minds openly, debate our disagreements honestly, but always pursue solidarity.
When America is united, America is totally unstoppable.
There should be no fear -- we are protected, and we will always be protected.
We will be protected by the great men and women of our military and law enforcement and, most importantly, we are protected by God.
Finally, we must think big and dream even bigger.
In America, we understand that a nation is only living as long as it is striving.
We will no longer accept politicians who are all talk and no action -- constantly complaining but never doing anything about it.
The time for empty talk is over. Now arrives the hour of action.
Do not let anyone tell you it cannot be done. No challenge can match the heart and fight and spirit of America.
We will not fail. Our country will thrive and prosper again.
We stand at the birth of a new millennium, ready to unlock the mysteries of space, to free the Earth from the miseries of disease, and to harness the energies, industries and technologies of tomorrow.
A new national pride will stir our souls, lift our sights, and heal our divisions.
It is time to remember that old wisdom our soldiers will never forget: that whether we are black or brown or white, we all bleed the same red blood of patriots, we all enjoy the same glorious freedoms, and we all salute the same great American Flag.
And whether a child is born in the urban sprawl of Detroit or the windswept plains of Nebraska, they look up at the same night sky, they fill their heart with the same dreams, and they are infused with the breath of life by the same almighty Creator.
So to all Americans, in every city near and far, small and large, from mountain to mountain, and from ocean to ocean, hear these words:
You will never be ignored again.
Your voice, your hopes, and your dreams will define our American destiny. And your courage and goodness and love will forever guide us along the way.
Together, We will make America strong again.
We will make wealthy again.
We will make America proud again.
We will make America safe again.
And yes, together, we will make America great again. Thank you. God bless you. And God bless America.

Now if you want a news analysis of the speech, here it is:
http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/20/opinions/inauguration-opinion-roundup/index.html

To me, it just sounds like the same spiel and rhetoric he gave throughout his Presidential campaign and the Debates.  :P There really isn't anything new here. One of the things that bothers me the most is the "America First" he mentioned. Yep, sure sounds like we're going back to the days and years from the early 1900's to the late 1930's when America was isolationist and didn't get involved in other country's issues. Basically what Trump said is giving the impression of "Screw the rest of the world."
http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/20/politics/donald-trump-foreign-policy/index.html

I don't have any facts to back this up. All I have is a gut feeling, but I feel that if America does go back to isolationalism, I feel this will hurt our country and economy rather than improving it. It will also hurt foreign relations with other countries.

Trump has made a complete mess of his first 48-72 hours. Here's a few examples:

^ Love these! What a moron the WH Press Secretary is!  :D

And here we go again. Trump will not release his taxes. Gee, what a surprise.  :P

http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/22/politics/kellyanne-conway-trump-tax-returns/index.html

Oh, and I love this.  :o Trump's perpetual lying seems to be rubbing off on Conway. She is now using the term "alternative facts". Alternative facts are not facts. It's still lying you dumb jerk!  >:(
http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/22/politics/kellyanne-conway-alternative-facts/index.html

At the continued rate that Trump and his Cabinet keep lying, it won't be long before we go from "perpetual lying" to "revisionist history".  >:( And with the way Trump and his Cabinet keep bashing the press, how long will it be before Freedom of the Press is neutralized because Trump can't bear to have anything bad being said about him? I can't help but wonder if Trump has some sort of inferiority complex? He can't stand to have anybody or anything contradicting him or making him look bad, so he has to lie and distort facts to make himself and/or others look good.
http://money.cnn.com/2017/01/21/media/donald-trump-war-with-the-media/index.html

Oh, and he made a speech at the CIA too. Kept lying throughout that speech as well.  :P

So I heard that Dump wanted his press secretary to lie to Americans about the crowd sizes at his events. Dump also paid people to fill seats. And worst. His crowd of tin hat nazis  cheered him wile in the CIA building when he continued his erosion of American media. Causing the nazi press to cheer him.

Countdown to his impeachment.

I was listening to a democrat congressman who had a reasonable idea about
our shiny new president. He said we should judge Trump by his actions, not so
much by his comments.

I think most of  us will come to this conclusion. Trump seems to have two
ways of thinking. When making speeches on his feet. He says what ever
comes to mind, even if it's wrong. He has spent his life as a salesman. So
he automaticly reads those listening and tells them what he feels they want
to hear. Wither it's the truth or not. Or coflicts with statements he has made
in the recent past.

Then later when he is alone or with those he respects. He is the real Trump.
It's then he will do the things we can judge by.

I imagine over time people will come to understand this. I hope those in
other contries do as well.  Words mean a lot to people, insults can start
wars. So Trump needs to understand this as well.

The bad thing he does is calling the media liers when they print or report
his own words. Seems he doesn't want to admit being wrong about any
thing. I suppose this is part of his being a salesman. It's still harmful to
the press which keeps our country safe from those who would take
advantage of our ignorance otherwise.

Judge him by his actions?

His continual erosion of the media will serve his actions. What ever he does he will blame the media. He can kick his tin hat nazis in the family jewels and they will praise him. The rest of us will hear it's not the truth. It's the corrupt media spreading lies. I can't wait to hear him say "Trust only me."
