Oklahoma Tornado, at least 24 confirmed dead
« on: May 21, 2013, 11:44:05 am »
In case any of you didn't know, At least 24 people are confirmed dead including 7 children and many more are missing after a tornado tore through Oklahoma city at over 200 miles per hour, which is rated as an F4 and is the worst since the 1930's! The worst place hit was Moore  Where neighbourhoods have been reduced to rubble and schools destroyed, the worst hit school was the plaza towers elementary school where many children and staff are thought to have died after the roof collapsed on them whilst they were seeking refuge in the hall and they drowned due to broken water pipes and not being able to escape from under the rubble. The death toll is expected to rise drastically as search and rescue teams find more bodies under the debris.

It breaks my heart to see this on the news and my heart goes out to all who are in Oklahoma and all of you in america, you guys have had it rough these past months. Be careful all you Oklahoma Furs!

Yeah it was an EF5 the worst one since 1999, the one in '99 hit the exact same area. It was kinda scary because I only live 6-8 hours away from Moore and that same system had gone over us the day before. The Enhanced Fujita scale starts a EF0 and goes up to EF5, EF5 being the strongest kind of tornado.
