Trump day 316
Trumps good guy Flynn has plead guilty lieing to the FBI. Has he
made a deal with Special counsil Mueller ? Trump may be sweating
because he doesn't know what Flynn might be saying.

GOP
The treasury secretary claimed he was working on a report telling
how good the tax bill is for the economy, but it turns out he wasn't
doing anything about it. So now the senate is up againsts a Trillion
dollar defict if they pass the bill. They were expecting a possible
deficent of half that. I am sure they will wiggle a  way out, but it's
already a bad bill. If they make it worse, Americans will pay a big
price so the GOP can feed their fat cat supporters.

Personally I think it should be unconstitutional to pass any tax bill
with a simple majority. It should take at least a 3/5 majority if not
a 2/3 vote. With a simple majority half of the population is forced
to pay any tax the other half plus one wants to empose. In the past
most tax changes required at least a 3/5 vote, but leaders found
it hard to get their tax increases passed they moved to a simple
majority. This is a poor excuse, if the money is needed, prove it
instead they change the rules.

President Trump was happy when the senate passed a tax bill
that will save him and his family millions and millions in taxes.
It was tempered a bit due to Flynn. As usualy when Trump doesn't
like something he calls it fake news. Then what he does like he
repeats time and time again. It's a fact in selling the more you say
something is good or bad, the more people will believe it. As we know
Trump is a master salesman, and his supporters want to believe him.

As the investigation by special counsel Muller closes in on the
Trump administration. Trump will try harder to divert attention
toward someone like Clinton, Obama or the democrats. If and
when a impeachment occurs, you can be sure Trump will claim
it's all about politics, and he won't let it go. For the rest of his
life he will blame everyone but himself for his impeachment.

GOP
Well the GOP members of the senate voted to cut taxes for
their rich fat cat supporters. Oh and they are starting to say
we have to cut spending with all this debt, and they are even
saying we must cut social programs to do it. They already
have a dirty finger pointing at social security and medicare.
So how many older people will die due to hunger, or no heat
to keep warm, or pay for medicine, and healthcare? How
many will be kicked out of nursing homes to die in the streets?
Many older people go to nuring homes because their kids don't
want or can't care for them.

This tax bill won't cause any pain to a healthy young person or
family who isn't going to college. By the way any aid you recieve
to help pay for college will be taxable. Including  scholarships.
Think about that. You may owe thousands in taxes even without
a job. This country needs more college educatedpeople not less.
But the GOP only worrys about their rich supporters, not the
working people who make this country what it is.

It seems the rich never learn. they seem to forget if they take
most of the money, how will big business sell anything? It's the
average person who buys the products factories put out. If the
public reaches a point they can't buy, the factories will close, and
huge numbers of people will be without a job. This will mean
even fewer people will be able to buy products. This is what
creates a depression with millions of people looking for work.
If this happens there will be social change in spite of the GOP or
the rich fat cats. This is how the great depression of the 1930's
was started. We are not a kingdom full of farmers. Our system
depends on people buying products. I fear we are headed for
another big depression that will likely sweep the world. Too few
people are controlling much of the money. The GOP's tax cut
takes even more money out of the hands of the public.

President Trump says he wants to recognize the city of Jerusalem
capital of Israel. This will likely set off riots and violent protests in
the middle east. The Palestinaian people claim the city as their own.
Over the past 40 years we have agreed to disagree on this subject.
But Trump made a campaign promise to recognize the city as the
Jewish capital. So instead of forgetting this promise like he has
others he wants to do this as he thinks it will gain him votes. If
it starts a middle east war that gets a lot of Jews killed he may
loose votes instead.

Trump the coffee shop politician continues with his lack of
understanding of world politics keeps us on the edge of war.

GOP
The GOP continues to push for their tax cut for the rich.
Any cut for the middle class is only temporary. In the
next few years the tax will increase unless your a
millionaire. Where your taxes will stay low. The
GOP claim they have taken loopholes out of the  tax
system, but when asked they couldn't even name one.
they removed. So it's likely some corporations will pay
almost no tax at all.

Some parts of their bill actually encourages some big
businesses to set up operations in other countries.
This will reduce their taxes. Not counting jobs. So goes
America first.

These tax cuts will trigger cuts to  programs for the needy.
Like medicaid, social security, and medicare. All of which
the GOP would like to get rid of. They claim those who
get governlment aid are lazy loosers others shoulldn't
have to support. I guess they include children and the
disabled in this group. As of now they are not renewing
health care program for needy children.

President Trump does support the man running for US senate in
Alabama. It's plain to see Trump a man who has many women
saying he harassed them sexually cares, even though the man
he supports is accused of the same and more. It's all about
winning no matter who it hurts or how it looks.

President Trumps idea of recognizing Jerusalem
as the capital of Isreal was a thoughtless mistake.
He could have used this declaration to get Isreal to
make changes that would have helped the peace
process. Instead he gave it away likely for a few
far right votes.

Dem
The senator from Minnesota will resign due to accusations
of sexual harassment. Most of these had little  if any
credibility. The democrats idea of zero tolerance makes
it possible for anyone to get rid of a sitting democrat with
the claim they were sexually harassed. It would have been
better to have used the ethics committee to make
the decision.

President Trump continues to brag about how much better the
economy is since he took office. Well the last 10 months of
Trumps administration had less new jobs than the last 10 months
of the Obama administration.

The economy is slowly growing, but not any faster than when Obama
was in office. Wages which mean more to most people show low
growth. In many cases wages and buying power of workers is
dropping. Big business works to lower the cost of labor, not to
increase it. Especially businesses that require a lot of labor like
factories.

Our country has been moving to a service industry over the past
few decades. Mechanics, Plumbers, Electricians, people answering
phones, ect.

Politicians like Trump and the GOP like to brag about creating jobs,
but the number of unemployment which is reported at less than 5%
doesn't show the whole story. The number of people needing jobs
and those having to work part time is around 8%. Many of these
people don't make enough to make ends meet if they are lucky. So
they do without proper food, and clothing  for their children. Now
the GOP wants to cut aid to the working poor. They use the excuse
"We shouldn't pay to support lazy beer drinkers. " If they don't like
those who are lazy help them get good jobs instead of kicking out
in the street to beg from others. If they won't work or claim a
disability then see that their kids at least have food, health care
and shelter. If we don't they will likely grow up thinking no one cares
about them, and likely be on drugs or worse. That will cost society
more than helping them in the first place.

GOP
There is a lot of talk about morality these days. I think most people
who call them selves Republicans are moral, but the party leadership
has convinced many they must pass this or that to save the country.
So they must hold their nose and vote for someone who has been
credibly accused of sexual misconduct and worse. If people don't
stand against this ultra conservatism the country will fall into even
more division, When radicals gain power they do things that have
been proven to cause economic losses not gains. Perhaps to start
a economic depression.

Since social security was passed in the 1930's the GOP has wanted
to get rid of it. They know touching it is political suicide so they plan
to create a huge enough deficit so they can claim they must cut
entitlements to save the economy. This way they think they can
get by with it. Trump said he would protect Social security and
medicare. So lets see if he keeps that promise or wiggles out of
it. Many people will starve and die of disease if cuts are made to
these programs. Just as they did prior to their enactment. The GOP
will cause this country to move to socialism if they hurt enough
people. We came close to it in the 1930's.

President Trump apparently declared Jerusalem the capital of Israel
to please the far right. It seems they believe when Israel is returned
to the one state with Jerusalem as the capital, Christ can return to
begin the end of times.  This belief is not supported by the majority
of Christians around the world. It's mostly promoted by people in
the far wanting to get rich. Far right supporters spent millions to
help Trump get elected so he could make this declaration.

Many people down through history have used religion to get rich.
People should investigate anyone who promotes a religous belief
that doesn't follow normal religious facts. Otherwise you could
find your self in a religious cult who is after your money.

GOP
The GOP apparently worried that the special council Muller is going
to find Trump guilty of something. So they and Fox- (Trump TV) is
running Muller down as being political instead of finding the honest
truth. I wouldn't be surprised if the GOP or Trump finds a way to get
rid of the special counsel or at least discredit him.

Is president Trump a couch potato? It has been reported he watches
TV about eight hours a day. Add that to his tweeting and Golf, when
does he do any work? In his campaign he complained about how much
Obama played golf, and how little time Obama worked in the white
house. Trump has spent more time traveling for relaxation and playing
golf than any previous president. Trump seems to think he is some
kind of king ruling over his subjects. He seems to think he is above
the law as well.

Trump seems to think the people elected him to what ever he wants.
He constantly lies and seems to be unable to stay on any subject for
more than a few minutes.

He doesn't exercise, and drinks a dozen diet cokes a day. He has a
poor diet that includes extra ice cream and cake. Sleeps around 5
hours a night. Goes asleep with a TV on and wakes up to TV. It's
no wonder his health is slipping and gaining weight. Presidents are
under constant stress and often suffer loss of good health while in
office. So here is a man with relatively  poor health to begin with.
I wonder if he even lasts another 3 years living like this.

President Trump and his good friend Bannon were likely a bit red faced
after Roy Moore apparntly lost his bid for the US senate. They had bot
supported him completely. Trump and Bannon both have claimed they
would primary any republican running for office in 2018 who opposes
them. It appears their ability to control the GOP voting base isn't
nearly as strong as they claim.

I wonder if they GOP will continue to fear them as much as they have
over the past year.

Trump attacked the senator who first called for his resignation , claiming
she offered to do anything for a donation from him a few years ago.
Ever since Trump started supporting Roy Moore women and the media
have been reminding Trump of his reported sexual misconduct.  Trump
seems to believe if he continues to claim the women are lying it will
go away. This from a man who makes a business of lying.

I wonder with women speaking out as ever before, will any public
official escape their scrutiny. I hope women across American and
the world start standing up for them selves. Men have taken
advantage of women far too long as it is.  Moores defeat is
a victory for women, and human rights everywhere.

President Trump claims he isn't a racist, but why doesn't he have African American
people in the white house. Not to cook and clean, but as advisers and political
professionals and staff. There was one, but she was fired apparently for not keeping
her mouth shut, and trying to talk to Trump.

There is a African American in the cabiet, who is over public housing. Seems odd
Trump would put a Doctor in that position. Trump claimed a black man like the
Doctor who has no experience in housing people would be good because
he grew up poor. Looks like the Doctor is being used instead of picking a
professional in housing.  I could be wrong, but I have my doubts.

President Trump has failed to fill many important jobs in government
since he took office. Most have been Billionaires who care more about
their life style than  the job.

I have nothing against being rich, it's what many of them do with their
money I object to. Buying elections for one. Using it to get rid of
competition in business . Using it to convince people people of a
lie is another. Many rich people succumb to greed. After all why
would anyone need a billion dollars or more? They could spend
20 million a year for 50 years with a billion in the bank. One
percent interest would be 10 million a year on s billion.

If we don't curtail the greedy rich like Trump and his friends,
they will own us all in the future. Just as they have tried to
do in the past.

President Trumps attack on the FBI shows his lack of respect for
law and order when it effects him. He seems to think he is above
the law as president. He thinks if he says something enough people
will believe his con job.

Trump news (Fox News) parroting Trumps claims that his connection
to Russia fake news. Seems the only regulations he wants to change
only effects big corporations. He isn't interested in removing them to
help small business. The vary ones that employ most of the populations.

Gop
The GOP and Fox News are trying to discredit Special council Muller.
A man when appointed to the job was cheered by his fellow
Republicans. Apparently they thought he would be a good Republican
clear Trump and his campaign of any wrong doing. Now that he
is doing his job and finding law breakers close to Trump they
to get rid of him. Apparently to please Trump and his fake
news crowd at Trump news.

Trump and the GOP might be able to  con Trumps base
of supporters, but there is a growing majority of Americans
who see Trump for what he is. A lier and a con artist who
looking out for him self and not the country. It's likely he
will drag the GOP down with him. Already almost 60 %
of Americans think he should be impeached, and the
mostly ignores the majority of Americans which will
likely lead to their loss. Several GOP members of
congress are not running for office so they won't be
seen as loosers in the 2018 election.

If your a millionaire or billionaire get ready to save
millions in taxes next year. If your not you might
save a few bucks, but in a year or two will likely be
paying more. If you itemize you will see some of
your favorite deductions gone. Trump said this
tax bill would hurt him which is a lie. It will save
him 10's of millions in taxes. Him and most of
top 1% of americans, and some forign corporations
who do business in the USA.

President Trump spoke on the phone with Russias Putin. Trump said
it was Putin thanking Trump for exposing a terrorist plot that
could have killed several in Russia.

This of course is a good thing if true. Hopefully Trump didn't
expost some of our operatives doing so. Or to reveal how we
collect information in Russia. Trump has been known to do
reveal secret information in the past. In fact some of the
countries we used to get info from have discontinued
providing data to us because of this.

Trump complained that Special council Muller had emails
of the Trump campaign. Trump claimed most were
personal. Rather hypocritical  as he claimed Clinton's
personal emails should be made public during his
campaign. It's just Trump trying to make the special
council Muller look bad. Lawful investigations commonly
collect emails from people they are investigating.
R
eports that Puerto Rico is still at a little over 50%
of electrical power for the island. Also over 1000 have
died because of the storm and poor response by the
Trump administration. It's likely over 100,000 will
relocate to Florida. I have a hunch most won't be wanting
to support the GOP in 2018 considering how little help they
recieved in the past few months.

GOP
The Trump investigations by the senat and house may close soon
after the first of the year. The GOP claims it's a waste of money to
persue it. These are the same people who spent millions investigating
JH Clinton over and over again even though they never found anything.
These people who play politics every day have the gall to say the Special
council is guilty of being policital, and should be fired. It's not the
business of congress to protect a president, but to hold them accountable.

The House just voted and passed the new tax bill this afternoon. The Senate will vote a bit later tonight on it. I have no hope that this tax bill will get repealed, denied, etc.  The Republicans have too many of their members favoring it. It will unfortuneately pass through the Senate and head to Trump's desk tomorrow where he will sign it into law. This whole tax bill was blindly rushed through Congress without anybody ever fully reading it and understanding the consequences of it. The Repubs just didn't care. All they really cared about was appeasing Trump and giving him a legislative win before Christmas and before his first year was up as President.

Trickle down Economics doesn't work and never will work.  >:( As Old Rabbit has probably said before, all this tax bill does is favor the rich and screw the middle class and poor. And not only that, but it will add another $1 trillion or so dollars to our national debt. Now, guess what's going to happen next after several months or a few years? To get "out of debt" and reduce the deficit, the Repubs (Especially Paul Ryan) will put forth plans to cut back on entitlements like Social Security, Disability, Welfare, Housing, Medicare, Medicaid, etc. in order to pay the deficit. Think I'm wrong? Just wait, it'll happen. ;)  Oh, and somewhere in this grand scheme, Trump and the Repubs will find ways to blame the Democrats for the huge deficit while also at the same time denying that they (Repubs) created it. The Repubs will probably also spin doctor this whole situation and twist it to their ends to try and win re-elections during the 2018 midterms.

Sorry, America. But you just got screwed.  >:(

The Senate passed the tax bill last night. :(
To see how the tax bill affects you and/or your family, check this calculator here:

In other news........Trump Jr. is "promoting" a conspiracy that higher up Americans in gov't won't let Trump do his job and "America be America". Yeah, right.  :P Sounds like a bunch of hogwash to discredit the FBI, Mueller, and the Russian investigations, and to possibly gain sympathy from Trump supporters and Republicans. Seriously? Trump and his base are stooping this low? Wow!  :o

Thank you Kobuk.

The tax bill President Trump is so proud of, and hasn't likely read
will give him a win. We he is right. It's a win for him and his
billionaire friends. Also it's a win for GOP's rich supporters who
have been spending millions to keep them in office.

Now people may see a bit more money in their pay check
next year, but it's only a sugar cube to keep the middle class
on their side till after the next election. All this sweetness will
go away in a few years. Only the tax cuts to real estate mogals
and corporations will stay. By the way Trump and several senators
have considerable investments in real estate. The people don't
put people in office to  help those elected to get rich. I have a
hunch many of these money grubbers will find it hard to get
elected once the people learn what they did. One Tennessee makes
almost 8 million a year in real estate. So it's no wonder he would
vote to cut his own taxes.

While the GOP makes the rich richer they plan to cut insurance for
children and the poor. People they call lazy looser's. This is why rich
people have no business being in congress. They look down on the
the poor. Some have through hard work have made millions, but it
takes a bit of luck along with hard work to become a millionaire
from scratch.

The GOP plans to spend 100's of millions to misslead the public
about this tax cut for the rich. I think they will find them hard to
convince.

I made a comment to a person about the tax cut, he and
others said they felt it's just a gift to the rich, and don't like it.
This from conservative Republicans.

GOP
They have done little to prevent the Russians from having influence
during the next election. They seem to forget the Russians and other
countries who may try this won't always be favoring the GOP.

Trump claims this tax bill will bring jobs back to the USA. In fact it
encurages big business to move jobs out of the country. Also big
business is using their big profits to buy back stock and pay dividens
to stock holders. Not to make jobs. This bill removes the mandate to
buy health insurance. So many will find out what it's like to owe 10's
of thousands in hospital bills with no money to pay for it. A vist to an
emergency room can cost thousands.

President Trump and the GOP are patting each other on the back
for their passage of their big tax cut for the rich.

Of Course big business is joining in with big bonuses for their
workers, and even some are raising wages . This is all great,
but why didn't they do this earlier. Big business has been
making huge proffitcs for the last few years. Even befor Trump
in spite of his claims. Let see how long this lasts. So far those
getting pay raises and bonuses are working for the largest
corporations. Effecting around a million or two workers. Those
in the service industry will likely be left out in the cold. The
very people who voted for Trump. Trump had a populace
message in his campaign. Many promises he hasn't kept.
Like health care for all. Protecting Social security, and
medicare. Each time he is reminded of this he often
says campaign promises are just talk. Trump ran to make
money for his self and his family, not to make America
great for all. The sooner people realize this the better.

Presidents Cabinet meeting was more of a brag  on Trump
fest than anything else. The vice president was practicly
kissing Trumps feet. This and comments by others was
at the point being ridiculous. Trumps ego often gets in
the way of his good sense if he has any.

I often wonder what Trump is offering or threatening the
GOP politicians when he has them alone. They almost
always start supporting him right after.

I think he tries the same thing with other countries. This
is likely why we are loosing favor and friends around
the world. If the GOP stays in power I fear we will be
at war with Iran or N Korea before 2020 if not sooner.

The GOP, likely following Trumps wishes are trying to
discredit the Special counsel Muller, and the FBI to
the american public. This attack on Law enforcement by
President Trump is dangerous to a free society. If people
loose confidence in those who enforce our laws it could
lead to anarchy.

This tax bill has a lot in it other than taxes.  It opens up
pristine areas of Alaska to Oil and gas exploration. It adds
a 12% tax to products from Puerto Rico as if they were a
foreign country. This will harm our fellow americans there.
The governor of Puerto Rico is appealing to all americans
who have relatives in Puerto Rico to help put GOP politicians
out of office due their lack of respect for their fellow
in Puerto Rico after the storms that devastated their
infrastructure.

President Trump is still bragging on his big tax cut for him, (about 100
million.) the rich and corporations. The rest of us are getting the crumbs.
Making taxes easier to file was only for those who don't itemize. The large
personal deduction made itemizing less desirable for those who make
a small wage. Those who do itemize will find it to be a larger headache
than ever. The tax preparers will be busier than ever.

Trump claims it's the largest tax cut in history, but even Obama
had a bigger tax cut.  He claims he has done more as president
than others who held the office. This is another lie. Most of what
he has done is remove regulations that protect our health and
the environment.

Trump continues to act like a coffee shop politician with quick fixes
that cause more problems than they solve. Big business always wants
less regulations. Much of what they do is harmful to the enviroment. We
should remember all the places big business has dumped chemicals and
other dangerous garbage to save costs. Then the tax payer had to pay
billions to clean it up.

The GOP is the political arm of big business, and if the public doesn't
curb them we will pay a big price in the end.

Big business is giving many of it's employees thousand dollar bonuses
and some pay raises. All told so far it's not much more than a billion or
so of the 100's of billions they will gain in tax savings.

Hopefully the public at large won't fall for this short term tax savings. The
GOP is betting that a few dollors will buy lots of votes. I like to think the
public is smarter than the GOP, but only time will tell. If the GOP is
returned to full control I fear many of our rights will be gone in favor
of fanatical religious desires and that of big business.

Currently the GOP would loose many seats in congress if the elections
were held today, but with most of a year to go anything is possible. If
we end up in a war many people will vote to keep government the
same. If the economy continues to grow it will help the GOP even
though much of the growth is due to changes Obama made during
his time in office. Not Trump who is better at going bankrupt than
success.

President Trump returns to his resort in Florida. I
doubt if the locals are happy to see him as each time
he is there the local businesses are practically shut
down by the secret service.

I have no idea how many millions of tax payer dollars
have been spent to keep Trumps billionaire life style.
He rarely ever uses any businesses he doesn't own
when he is out playing golf or partying.  I doubt if he
has spent more than a 100 days at the white house
since he was  elected.  Other than going out to rallys
toi feed his ego, and some overseas government visits,
he has spent most of his time doing little except brag
feed his ego, and tweet.

GOP a party who was started in the 1850's once was
a proud party who is falling into the hands of the far
right. At one time they worked for the good of the
people . Now it's for the good of the party.

When the industrial revolution began in the last half of
the 1800's. People who built the railroads, coal Mining,
created the oil industry, banking, and power,. All became
super rich by stepping on those who worked for them.

By the late 1800's the public elected people to the
government who put limits on these monopolies.
Most were broken up into smaller businesses. The
leaders of the monopolies cried we provide thousands
of jobs. Of course they didn't mention the company
towns where the workers were forced to live existence
lives  with little or no health care. Paid only enough to
to barely survive and little more. This made huge profits
for the leaders of business, and did help the country grow,
but at a huge human cost. I fear we are headed for more
of this kind of activity by big business. Pay as little as
possible while raising prices.  Support politicians who will
give tidbits to the public to stay in power  while enriching
their rich supporters with few regulations and lower taxes.

There is nothing wrong with being rich as long as your
willing to support the needs of the society who helped
you becaome rich in the first place. If you start to
step on people you will loose in the end. Unfortunately
many people who become very rich loose sight of this
and act like they know whats best for the rest of us.

Only time will tell if the public is willing to hold big
business and the GOP acountable for their deeds.

President Trump said Merry Christmas, but was he talking
to us or his rich buddies. I imagine he will be handing out
some goodies at his resort in Florida, at least to his friends
who paid $200,000.00 to be there.

The GOP after passing a tax bill that gives them and Trump
more than us have gone home to hide. Or perhaps they will
be at a party or two attended by those who like them.

Perhaps next year the voters will give them a nice
permanent vacation.

President Trump is tooting his horn about the economy, but
Obama did as well or better, and brought us out of a recession
to boot. The stock market is doing very well, but world stock
markets are doing well and some better than ours, and they
don't have a Trump for president.

We best hope this fast growing market doesn't pop it's
bubble, or a lot of people will loose their shirt. The same
thing happened in the 1920's when the world  stock markets
crashed along with ours. People lost millions overnight. The
stock market is a gamble rich people play. But stock brokers
will tell you to only invest what you can afford to loose.

Reports by some at Trumps high dollar resort that Trump
was bragging to his rich friends about how much money
he had saved them with the tax bill he signed. This after
all his claims that the tax bill would cost him and his rich
friends. Of course he has denyed this report.

If you depend on government aid this tax bill will likely
cost you some of your aid. The GOP plans to cut health
care and other services for people who depend on them.
They will claim they have to because of the huge deficits
they created with their tax cuts for their rich supporters.

The GOP has wanted to get rid of all entitlements ever since
they were enacted by the democrats. They would rather give
welfare to big business. Isn't it odd many Republicans
congressmen are involved in the very businesses they wish
to support. They always claim it's all about jobs, but if they
care so much about workers why do they hate Unions and
the minimum wage. Both of which they would like to do away
with.

President Trump spent over a 100 days on vacation in
2017. To hear him they were all working vacations of
course.  He complained about Obama being on vacation
too much, but Trump only works a few hours a day, and
most of that is watching cable news.

Trump still trys to run our country like it was one of his
businesses. He apparently has little idea how to govern
except by decree. All his so called successes have been
from a GOP congress voting to change government to fit
an agenda they have had for over 30 years. Trump has
no agenda except to win, to look good, to be popular, to
be mr big, and have everyone who works for him declare
their total loyalty to him. Trump needs to understand thos
in government are supposed to be loyal to the constitution
not to any one man. Trump needs to understand he works
for all the people not just those who voted for him. Somehow
I doubt he ever understands he isn't the smartest, most
popular man in the world. Instead he claims "Fake News"
when it exposes him for what he is. I think most of us
already have an opinon on what he is, so I won't add mine.

This comming year Trump and the GOP are talking about
infrastructure. After the big tax cut driving up deficits it's
going to be hard to find the money. I think they should
tax big business more on infrastructure since without good
roads and bridges their business would be gone. Being an
election year it's not likely the GOP will pass anything that
hurts people on medicare or medicaid. Hopefully the
democrats will gain control of the senate and or the house.
Otherwise the GOP will continue hurting the poor and the
needy claiming it costs too much. Yet they give billions in
tax breaks to big business even though they don't need it.

Lately many women have come out to talk about sexual
harassment. To change men they have to gain more control.
Women down through history have been treated like second
class citizens. They need to get out and run for political office
if they wish to change the rules on how men can treat women.
Some men will always try to run women's lives, but they have
to stand up for them selves if they want real change.

Not much new except the interview lTrump had. This interview
should tell his supporters what kind of man they support. A man
who thinks he is smarter than anyone else. A man who lies almost
continuously. Is he trying to convince himself, or anyone who will
listen?

Personally I think the major media should give Trump credit for
every stupid thing he does. This would make it harder for Trump
to call it fake. The same with the GOP and Democrats.

I think the american people are smart enough to see the
damage  Trump has done.. Some may follow Trump like sheep
to be slaughtered, but I think most see him for what he is. A
man who will say or do anything to make money and win favor
for himself, no matter who it hurts. Even if it tears our country
apart.

I think Trump will claim any GOP losses in 2018 will be due to
illegal  voters just as he did when he lost the popular vote. I
think election 2018 should be called judgment day for our
country. A day to decide what's right for the USA..

The year ends with the rich getting richer and the poor
poorer. Trump and the GOP worked to pass a tax cut that
saved the riches people in our country a Trillion dollars
over the next 10 years. Leaving the middle class with
little or nothing, but mostly empty promises.

The claim the middle class will make a extra $4000.00 a
year or more. Why?, because of all the money they saved
big business will trickle down to workers. This promise has
been made by the GOP for 30 years, but  the only ones who
benifit are the rich, not the workers.

The GOP and Trump represent the richest people who seem
to forget if they take all the money from the consumer there
won't be anyone to buy their services or products. This is what
triggered the great depression of the 1930's. When people's
income is reduced to the point they can't buy what they need.
Those who provide go broke and will increase the unemployed.
A chain reaction that leads to an economic disaster. It seems
people who are rich will always try to get richer. This leads to
risk taking that often causes loss of jobs and economic
depressions.

This is why regulations are put on big business and to
limit risk taking that can hurt the economny. Of course
big business and rich don't  want to be limited, they feel
they have the right to do anything they want. No matter
who it hurts. Many times in the past the super rich has
cost thousaqnds of jobs for no other reason than to punish
a competitor. People seem to forget the rich are humans
with the same faults and failing as the rest of us. Unfortuantly
with a lot of money a lot of damage can be done. A poor man
making a bad decsion usually only hurts himself, but a rich
man's bad decision can hurt thousands. Regulations help
prevent the latter. The same regulations Trump and the GOP
want to get rid of. Because they think they are smarter than
everyone else. Usually those who think they are smart have
a lot to learn.

Looking forward to what I hope is a better new year
for us all.

President Trump continues to act like a playground  bully. His
tweets remind me of an internet bully. Ever notice when he is
physically with other leaders he is meek. At least he gives that
appearance.

Trump always reminds me of a redneck. At least those I have
known over the years. They like coffee shop politicians seem
to think strong talk and quick fixes will solve problems. In
reality this way of doing things usually causes more problems
in the end. When millions of people are evolved there is no
such thing as a quick fix.

It has been reported that Trump had not planned to win the
election. He was mostly just wanting to make a bigger name
for himself. In other words he was using the election to promote
himself and not to make the country greater.

Trump broke with the Asian alliance which helped
China to become a economic world leader. Trumps
lack of experience is costing the USA alot in the long
run. Trump is a poor business man who gained
fame on a TV show. A show that made Trump
look like great businessman even though it
was all a fantasy. This is why Trump is doing
such a poor job of being president. He is an
actor who needs a script to do anything
worthwhile.
